Staff review by

When years ago Children Of Bodom began to gain acceptance and fame among the metal community, similar bands instantly appeared In the scene like Norther and Kalmah, these 2 bands were labeled as CoB clones since then, and it is a label that is very hard to live on. But gladly these 2 bands managed to find their own sound and took away the accusations of some critics, that they were copycatting CoB.

The first album I heard from them. I remember myself listening "Moon Of My Nights" and "Heroes To Us" all the time since then.

Well, Kalmah is great. Awesome guitar parts and drums, and memorable starting of Heroes To Us. Finland is the home of great metallers, hail Kalmah.

This kind of composition is usually received happily by flower (power) metal fans.

Not even close to "flower" metal, but it's still not a good album. Only one really good song here, and it's not much guesswork to know what it would be either.

Another Kalmah album, it was 1th I heard thanks to MS anmy 1th song was Heroes to Us, exelent amtepeace, somehow back in that day It was out standing
Now I say Moon Of My Nights is greatest, calm vocals, a bit how to say Notrdic bands if sing clean and put epic poetic lyrics as few ETOS songs can make it magical, its autumn you know
