Staff review by
Sun Of The Sleepless is the one-man band of Ulf Theodor Schwadorf (real name: Markus Stock), best known from Empyrium and The Vision Bleak. Even though the project was formed almost 20 years back, only a couple of EPs and a split with Nachtmar were released in the early days, making To The Elements the band's debut full-length and the first piece of new music after no fewer than 13 years. Its creator described it as "a fist in the face of a shallow world!" and indeed it is. It was also more than worth the wait.

This album is nothing short of Empyrium or The Vision Bleak albums. Best album of the month, for sure.

NO review, ms c mon, such a masterpiece.
Its basically all what BM is all about, poetical lyrics, as we know him from Empyrium. Great melodies, melancholy and great touch whit riffs and atmosphere., There are 10% BM bands whatr lyrics are poetic and not about st. ann, and only few metalheads understand such art. I am one of them... no start make fun about me.
I don't know, it will be hard to chose ms awards ....but I like this album and I will spin this one more n more
Life is to short for LOVE, there is many great things to do online !!!

Good album with great production and some beautiful moments (Phoenix Rise!) but not really a masterpiece
