You could check their last.fm page once in a while. Loads of updates there, my friend.

They're not reinventing power metal, but what they're doing is brilliant. This band is a melody factory and the guitar shredding on this album is stellar. Sometimes I felt like the keys were too much, but then the guitar stepped in and just blew me away with one majestic solo after another. This band should be up there with Rhapsody, DragonForce, Stratovarius at least. Brilliant songwriting, perfect musicianship, mountains of talent...just really, really good.

Very recombined stuff without a coherent vision of playing, composing and lack of memorable melodies.
I was very tired and confused after 8 songs. Only last song have some real value.
Definately NOT as good, as previous album.

Imho this and the 2 albums before this (Vetelgyus and Under The Force Of Courage) are the pinnacle albums of their career. They are definitely just as good as Strato, and very similar in style. There are so many people out there that haven't even heard of Galneryus, that would be blown away if they knew about them. Sadly the fact they are in Japan means they lose out on the same exposure and recognition that bands like Blind Guardian, or Rhapsody of Fire get. Not to mention it costs nearly twice as much £$ to get hold of a CD from Japan.

You got that right .
----
See how it sings like a sad heart
And joyously screams out its pain
Sounds that build high like a mountain
Or notes that fall gently, like rain.

I must admit, that my first rating of this album was too fast.
Now I see, how good new stuff is.

I thought this album was boring at first, I thought it was going to be another "meh" album like Under the Force of Courage, but I must admit after listening to it more and more times, it really grows on you. There are so many little details that you miss which requires many more times of listening. It isn't their best album or sold, but it is a damn solid story of power metal war.
