Details, awesome vocals and elegant aggression - liking this quite a lot.

I just realised who this band is, they released The Embodiment of Hate a few years ago. That was a great record. This one doesn't seem as good somehow though; the previous seemed "earthier" or something and altogether more unified as single entity. This one seems kinda disjointed. Funny how small sound changes can affect something.

Yeah, they played bm in a band thats featured here on MS. I prefered this though, strong 7, mostly for the cowbell

Guessing you mean Lake of Blood? You can tell from the off it's the same drummer. Not sure how I would rate this. Probably 6.5. Not much quality death metal this year though, plenty of solid stuff but nothing game changing.

Yep, I listened to them when this came out.
This and Portal is the best death metal for me, both strong 7, so horrible year in my books.
