Probably their worst album imho, it's dreadful, the lyrics in general are quite shocking, lot's of aggression and swearing with no real purpose, it certainly had energy, but the songwriting is generally poor and they had clearly gone overboard with the rapping. "Walking Away" is the only track that stood out for me as being half decent.

Why the Limp Biscuit marathon? it looks like you didn't enjoy the experience, why torture yourself?

I've been going through a nu metal phase lately, just to see if I can get some kind of understanding of the genre that was so big during my teenage years. I did the same with Korn and Slipknot, and I found I slightly warmed to those bands, I used to hate them growing up, so thought I would give Limp Bizkit a go, and see if I could find any positives in their music, but I admit I've really drawn the line with this band.

Deftones seems to be put into the same category and it's the only band worth checking out (IMO obviously).

I never really listened to Deftones much, another nu metal band to tick off my list, I must check them out

Well, they go beyond the nu-metal sound, they also have been labelled as alternative metal. They are pretty unique sounding IMO. Anyway, i warmly recommend them.

Theirs an underrated numetal band I put up here called One Minute Silence they didn't get as popular, one of their songs was an instrumental version on the game soundtrack to Twisted metal 4. But I've always thought they were one of the better ones. Two of my favorite songs is On Deaf Ears and I Wear My Skin.
