Most of the time words like "savage," "visceral," "aggressive' and "primal" are overused in heavy metal reviews. Every third-rate thrash or death band gets painted with such phrases, even though often you end up feeling as if Mötley Crüe's "Smoking In The Boys Room" would be more aggressive and in-your-face. But one album that can only be described by such violent description is Kreator's phenomenal 1985 debut, Endless Pain.

Not so great after hearing Pleasure to kill... still a nice ''thrash precursor to death'' metal

Rating: 8 Ok album with some nice moments.. nothing more..

Rating: 8 While this one overall, is definitely not up there with their absolute classics, like "Coma Of Souls" and "Pleasure To Kill", it is a decent debut. "Tormentor" and the immortal "Flag Of Hate" are rightly regarded as Kreator classics, and still amongst their best songs today. The vicious title track and the NWOBHM on speed of "Storm Of The Beast" are also faves of mine from this album. xD

Rating: 9 Perhaps my favourite kreator album. a bit on the lighter side compared to pleasure to kill, but still a viscious album.

Rating: 8 Not bad for a debut album, but the albums released in the 80's after this overshadow 'Endless Pain' a lot. 'Tormentor' and 'Flag of hate' are brilliant though\m/

Its a good debut but not more. Its not comparable to their latter stuff.

Quite good debut from a outstanding band. With a better production it could have been much more. "Storm of the Beast" is one of my favourite Kreator Songs.
