Grindcore isn't really my thing, but for whatever reason the 27 tracks in 27 minutes catchy blast plastered a smile on face. This album won't be on "repeat repeatedly", but paired with a mug of coffee it is a nice adrenaline spike to get me going in the morning. Haters be hatin' Hater, but not me.

At the time of this post, this album has an average rating of 4. I really don't understand why, this a very good grind record. Not a Pig Destroyer opus, or like the Rotten Sound's latest to be more actual, but definitely a good one. And one of the best of the year, in its style, so far. I saw it with Circle Of Dead Children's latest, and now this... And there are plenty more grindcore albums way underrated here. So sad...

because three people tanked it and only a few votes were cast. Grindcore isn't my thing, but this album made me smile.

People on Metal Storm hate on grindcore because it isn't cheesy symphonic power ballad rock music and their ears can't take the assault.

For grindcore that actually isn"t an assault
it"s rather slow, not very distorted, lacks exaggerated blasts, sometimes melodic....

Haha, that's like saying "compose your own Metal album and upload it here, instead of writing a review of an album".

Metal Storm staff like to hate on cheesy symphonic power ballad rock music to give the illusion they are into extreme metal, whilst secretly at home, behind the safety of their screen, they cry after being unable to stomach more than 30 seconds of grindcore.

I don't mind grindcore actually. It definitely doesn't seem to have the bad reputation of metalcore anyways.

I love grindcore but I found this album to be really lackluster.

To an outsider to metal unfamiliar with the genre described as "melodic death metal", this would sound ridiculous, especially if they heard it. It still is ridiculous because at least 99% of all music has some sort of melody and this album doesn't get anywhere near an in flames-esque sound lol

I honestly don't get what's so hard to stomach about grindcore.

Nothing really, I mean for someone who hasn't heard metal before or just starting to listen to it and only knows Iron Maiden then maybe it would be a little shocking. But so would a lot of metal.

Yeah, especially if they accidentally click on a Crustina Aguilera video, looking for something else.

People would rather have 4 minutes to digest a song as opposed to 40 seconds.

And it's an extreme form of metal, something that's already difficult for people to check out.

Sorry, I was referring to the mainstream catchy pop-esque grindcore bands that don't play real grind and slander the name of the genre.

Any grind album that doesn't have 30+ tracks averaging 3.7 seconds is mainstream shit.
