Rating: 7 A trilogy from DIS? This should be butt-fuckingly awesome...

Pretty good stuff, though I do miss the craziness of the debut which is largely absent here.

Same. Though, it's mentioned in many reviews that it's completely different than 'HFM'. Good stuff anyhow.

No comparison with the debut. You can safely skip the first track and overall it's a pretty nice album as Jooe and J. N. said. Streaming here.

Same opinion as the rest. Sounds heavy and some very good riffs, but lacks madness of the debut
Boxcar Willy - 03.11.2012 at 16:03
I want to have sex with this album.

Rating: 4 Biggest disappointment of the year for me. Sounds like a depressed child wrote this album

Rating: 7 Definitely has some kickass moments

Rating: 6 Besides all of that already have been said, it's too short

Woah... seeing the low rates and the high-rates-that-got-lowered. Seems like it really was dissapointing. I haven't heard it yet so I'll keep my expectations low.
Ithaqua - 10.11.2012 at 23:47
I think that this is much lower than the first album. This is more atmospheric.

6/10

Rating: 6 I can't quite figure out what it is. I definitely agree its too short and that Part I is too long, but to me I think the problem is that it really feels like they are holding back something. I feel like I'm left wanting more, but not in a good way. The first album appeared to be a signal that they were going to evolve into such a powerful band that doesn't give a fuck, but Widowmaker ending up being, sadly, really lackluster at times. I don't hate it, but at the same time I find myself listening to Hatred for Mankind more and more each time I want to listen to them.
