19.10.2013 Oh look, here's me recommending a Blut Aus Nord record. Pretty sure that's never happened before. If you like Blut Aus Nord, or any music, at its most primitive and twisted then I imagine this will make the blood rush to your lower-middle areas.

Rating: 8 Ooooooooooppps, fuck yeah I am so excited right now
It would be hard to top the masterpiece which was Liber II but I have high hopes. The most anticipating album of 2013 along with new ulcerate for me.
Mr. Doctor - 28.06.2013 at 02:15
My body is soooooooooo ready for this.
Apothecary - 28.06.2013 at 03:45
So the rumors were true... figured it'd be out this year, considering the usual fast pace of their releases. Bring it on!
Pazdzioch - 28.06.2013 at 04:48
  Shit in my pants.

Glad to see the dude keeps up every facet of BaN with continuations of Liber and MV. Though Liber II got less interesting with each listen......

Whereas MV: II was already boring before the end of the first play through

Rating: 8 Liber II gets more interesting with each spin just as a masterpiece should be

oh, you never miss a chance do you ?

Personally I like both styles, no matter which one is more original... good melo black and good industrial black-weirdness.

Memoria vetusta 1 and 2 are the only albums by this band i've liked. very much looking forward to the next one.
the what once was 1 and 2 are ok but not worth a purchase. will probably listen to the what once was III but i'm not excited or really care about it at all.

It hasn't leaked but If it's released on 11th then how come no one hasn't bought/listened to it yet?

seemingly release of this is postponed

And that is not updated in the album page. Where are the lazy ass MS staff?

EDIT : Supposedly, according to Debemur Morti's bandcamp page for this album, the new release date is 18th.
mz - 17.10.2013 at 03:04
Rating: 8 Track number 3 posted on the bandcamp is vaguely melodic, especially durring the firs half. Also, it is much less dissonant than Liber II. Moreover, vocals are higher in the mix. This track mostly reminds me odinist perhaps.
It's too soon to judge but I suppose that in terms of quality, I<III<II
!J.O.O.E.! - 17.10.2013 at 13:02
Rating: 8 I got tingles from the bendy riffs. Nope, make that goosebumps.

Very Odinist-y though, which I don't mind. I'm sure there'll be plenty of more dissonant tracks on it. Vocals are very high in the mix which is unusual.
Vombatus - 18.10.2013 at 23:35
Only listened to III and absolutely loving it. Duuuude, that riff. Yeah, gonna be good and also agree with people saying it's Odinistic (but like with a much more rough side or something...).
!J.O.O.E.! - 19.10.2013 at 00:42
Rating: 8 Yeah, another quality record. No huge surprises on this one, bar the last track of creepy ambient (of the Frenchest kind). Suitably primitive; like a mix between Liber I and Odinist. Bendy riffs everywhere.
3rdWorld - 19.10.2013 at 00:42
Leaked and currently listening to it. As far as I've heard from the first 3 tracks this is better than the 777 trilogy albums.
God Alone - 19.10.2013 at 02:43
Rating: 7 Yep it's nice... But after the second Liber (which was quite solid) I was expecting a bit more.
The 777 trilogy remains their peak, imo - especially Cosmosophy.
tock - 19.10.2013 at 02:57
Dungeon atmosphere! IV reminds me the last minute from epitome XIII . I hope that someone translate the lyrics from VI.
!J.O.O.E.! - 19.10.2013 at 19:01
Rating: 8 Whole thing on Bandcamp now

Boink.
mz - 19.10.2013 at 20:42
Rating: 8 Much better than what I was expecting after hearing track III of this EP. I love how this takes odinis's idea to new extreme levels.
The harshest album I've ever heard from them.
tock - 19.10.2013 at 21:23
now I think that Liber IV will be harsher than Liber III

we should first be sure that there will a new Liber EP. DM production once anounced that liber series is not a trilogy and thus, implied that there might bee plans for liber IV but we cannot be sure. Vindsval had told before that he is going to record TEoAM part II but that has not happened yet unfortunately.
bdomijan - 19.10.2013 at 23:15
Awesome violent, discordant and hateful black metal by these masters "Blut Aus Nord"!!!!.........man, i always loved the more violent side of this band man, and this is right up there with the "mystical beast of...." and the other "what once was...." records............one of the best of the year for sure.
