03:49 - Fearmeister Dark Thrones and Black Flags is one of my all time favorite albums :D
03:46 - Apothecary I prefer Mayhem to Darkthrone, but I do greatly admire Darkthrone for changing up their style over their career. And pfffttt to the butthurt fans who don't like their more recent shit :)
03:31 - Fearmeister Sure its less experimental, but the Fenriz's riffs are soooooo good
Written by Troy Killjoy on 25.07.2014 at 06:33 As I said in another thread in response to k7, this is actually my second-favorite release of the year so far, behind only Mastodon, and just ahead of Ethereal Riffian.
Oh, that's a lot of love. This has a "margin of improvement", as in it could easily go up in my esteem as well as up to an eight - which was my original vote. Usually stoner grows on me.

Unfortunately "note". I wouldn't mind seeing it used more often though, it's quite pleasing on the eyes.
I had the inside sleeve as a cover photo on Facebook for a while.
Sexy, sexy stuff.[/center]
That's it, I'm turning the spell-check on. I mean I just wanted to learn to spell the right way without leaning on that, but I guess making fun of my typos is way more important than the quality of my English. I swear on me mum I'll watch for the smallest mistake you make and rub it in your face like a kitten that still needs potty-training. Intense-purple-wearing bully.
Indeed, green doesn't appear too often, maybe because it's too neutral and not aggressive enough - for metal I mean.
That is a very nice little piece of art. I looked up the artist yesterday, I was pleased by what I saw.

Just listening to these guys on BC and I'm really impressed! I usually don't like stoner, but this...you just can't not...definitely adding them my list although I have a feeling they'll arrive to MS soon
Maybe you'll end up liking it as much as me. Just one point higher.
Hey, I earned that ring some time ago already and for many reasons. This should just speed things up.
I really just have a problem with the vocals on the first track. Too cliché and they don't add anything after the fiftieth time he said "empress rising". After the seventh minute - it's horrible, I know, I shouldn't be allowed to do that on this kind of album... but - I skip it. But then I get to that part I had playing in my head for twelve hours . I don't know if I'll drop the nine yet. Needs to grow. How many times have you listened to this? Ten? Twenty? Thirty times?

It's been out now for 5 months and I'm thinking... the first week it was up on Bandcamp I was listening to it at least once a day, and that turned into twice a day for about another month, and then I ordered the CD and listened to it even more. All in all I think about 50 times is more accurate. The only thing I've listened to on a similar basis is the latest Mastodon. The rest of the releases I've heard this year (with the exception of Ethereal Riffian) have passed me by quietly.
