10:22 - LuciferOfGayness And Satanism didnt make you guys dumb, that was capitalism ;D
10:16 - LuciferOfGayness Thats a good question, I imagine there are some satanists that worship Britney Spears. Picking a ideology wont give you a taste in music.
06:05 - no one wonder if the majority of all different kind of satanists are metalheads
04:02 - Apothecary @Jaeryd, you're referring to LaVeyan Satanism, which is essentially Nietzsche/Ayn Rand type philosophy plus some Crowley - influenced ritual magick. Most theistic Satanists do not consider it as "real" Satanism
03:30 - no one because calling yourself a satanist sounds more kvlt
It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".
01.07.2015 - ManiacBlasphemer
Not quite a metal band, but seeing that other hard rock or glam bands are featured, I do not see why these guys shouldn't be here. Great White is one of the better bands from that thoroughly commercial movement of the 80s.
23.03.2016 - SYCON
We got a full length cd as required. It'd be a great honour to be featured on this site. Here you can find some info:
Sycon bears just one thing in mind with their music - Total Havoc!
Brutal guitar riffs, versatile vocals, stomping beats and atmospheric synths defines the music, all while retaining their melodic metal roots.
Groove Factor Guaranteed!
Sycon was founded in 2009 at Oranienburg, north of Berlin. 2011 they released their first demo EP "Sniper's Poem". 2012 they moved to Berlin-Köpenick and had a fundamental member change. 2013 the only remaining member guitarist Moe joined with Jay from the Philippines as lead guitarist. They released the single "I'm the One" featuring Aurelia's Turm singer Marcel and Declamatory's drummer Fabi. In the End of the year Jay and Moe joined force with drummer Tobi, who was playing the davul and various percussion at the medieval group Obscuratis. Shorty after bassist Lars joined Sycon. 2014 they released the single "Downer" with female singer Seline. In early 2015 they finally found their permanent frontman Daniel, which worked before with Ill Kommodity and as rapper KoH Kain and is known as streamer KæinPlay. Corvus is a Melodic Metal band from Ukraine. They released their debut album "Raven Rising" in 2012.

Royal Corvus band was formed in September 2005 and the first band name was Corvus. The name was borrowed from Latin, it translates - the Raven. It is a symbol of the wisdom in most ancient religions of the world. Raven is a carrier of souls across the River of Eternity and a binding link between the fragile edge of the World of Shadows and the World of the Living. Initially, the Corvus band was created as a melodic symphonic gothic metal project, but in the process of development and quality growth joins itself the best of the different trends and styles of rock. Now Royal Corvus band has created more than thirty Russian and English-language songs. Song's sound is very different: from romantic ballads to hard and progressive rock. And nobody of the listeners will not remain indifferent, because everyone will find something in this music for themselves. All this different musical styles are merged in one unique style - Corvus style. Besides his own works band plays covers of classic rock and pop songs. During its long history Royal Corvus band many times was engaged in various kinds of rock and bike festivals in Kharkov, and outside it. The Royal Corvus band received invitations and performed in support to rock stars as: Master, Sergey Mavrin, Epidemia, Catharsis, and vocalist of the legendary bands Rainbow and Deep Purple - Joe Lynn Turner. April 28, 2012 the Corvus band has presented their debut album - Raven Rising. October 24, 2012 Royal Corvus was official support group of SCORPIONS in Kharkov as part of the farewell tour "FINAL STING TOUR" .

"Sår" (Sar) is a solo project in Depressive Suicidal Black Metal (DSBM) genre which started in 2008 by its only member "Don Andolini" in the north of Iran. The word "Sår" has been taken from one of the Sortsind's song titles with the same name, and it means "Wounds" in English.

Amazing avantgarde band i've discovered recently, mixing jazz, slow & fast tempos with a thrashy druming and almost no vocals besides occasional screams, these guys will for sure deliver for avangarde metal fans!

Adrián Barilari with the keyboardist Hugo Bistolfi, who also left Rata Blanca in 1994, form Alianza, with many musicians sessions, which were the only members permanently was Barilari and Bistolfi. Innate Concept's musical identity is rooted in the Progressive Metal genre - and the word "progression" is to be taken literally. Innate Concept strives to incorporate elements, instruments and ideas normally not found in classic Progressive Metal. The newest album "Sunset In Our Eyes" combines elements from electronica and classical elements into a whole new and unique sound. A multitude of synthesizers create the atmosphere, color and texture, the mighty Taiko drum ensemble delivers power, groove and impact, while the Armenian Duduk conjures up ethereal melodies, adding yet another layer to the rich-bodied symphonic orchestra. A piano and various acoustic guitars are another integral part of melodic storytelling and quite frequently intertwine with other instruments. All of this takes place planted firmly on the foundation of thundering drums, shredding guitars and a nasty, angry bass. Innate Concept's music is challenging, demanding, cunning, powerful, intense, yet so delicate and fragile. Be prepared, for it will demand your full attention - and it will surprise you if you dare a listen. Debut album can be purchased at http://www.innateconcept.com/shop/

Progressive Metal band in the vein of The Human Abstract's Digital Veil album without the harsh vocals. Their debut album Reticence: The Musical has already been released. Definitely worth a listen.

Band 23 is a new name in Croatian scene. Band has recorded their debut MCD and self released it in 66 limited copies. I've watched their short trailer and it sounds very interesting. It is definitely something new...
30.06.2012 - Trollnase
Trollkotze have always been perceived as a parody band, but their ongoing popularity, sales and the fact, that they are going to star in a documentary should be reason enough to acknowledge their legitimacy

Ongoing popularity? Whut? Last time I heard of you guys was 4 or 5 years ago.
29.06.2012 - Crucifux
This band is a solo project by one of the members of Shadows of Steel (which is just a few bands down if you haven't noticed) and is essentially a better, more modern spiritual successor to them.

What? A new CD by M.ILL.ION? Ehm, no, the cover says HUMAN RACE... Strange, I would have wagered that it had been them... But no, this quartet hails from G飆eborg (so at least the country was right) and "Dirt Eater" is its second album.
Melodic Metal, sometimes also reminiscent of fellow Scandinavian veterans PRETTY MAIDS, with some slight modern undertones (very well blending with the traditional sound) and a good portion of power (like the double-bass-driven opener "Paralyzed" or the bass-laden fast cracker "Lost In The Shadows") and groove ("Ending Calling" or the epic "Brand New Dawn") can be found here, just like two (!) RAINBOW-cover-versions, one of which is featured as a bonus-track.
What makes the band stand out from most of their musical brethren is the brilliant vocalist with the typical Swedish name of Stefano Marchesini, who without doubt is the show-piece of HUMAN RACE, so all you Melodic Metal-connoisseurs out there, this is one for you!
And I STILL think that this sounds like M.ILL.ION somehow...

Doomshade is an Midwestern indie band who released their self-titled debut album in 2007. Pantera is a clear influence here, the guitar tone and the double-bass drum work in particular bring Dimebag's crew to mind, though the songwriting sometimes is a bit more based in traditional metal. The vocals are harsh and rough and may or may not be inspired by Phil Anselmo -- by no means a direct soundalike, and in general they aren't as powerful as Anselmo though they do fit the general style of the music. Not at all bad for a first-time self-financed effort.

The band was born in Genoa in October 1996 and in December of this year came the first demo-tape with four songs: the first versions of "Kingdom", "Out Of The Darkness", "The Island" and "Storied Windows". This demo-tape got a contract with "Underground Symphony".
The first SHADOWS OF STEEL line-up was: Wild Steel (vocals), Andrew Mc Pauls (keyboards), Steve Vawamas (bass), Andre la Fisic (guitar) and Gianca (drums).
With help of Frank Andiver and other LABYRINTH's members, SHADOWS OF STEEL recorded their debut album at Zenith recordings in Lucca; it saw the light in November 1997.
In March 1998, the band have started a new work: a double MCD "Twilight". It contains three new songs, a remake of "Fly Away" from latest record and some covers of '80's American Metal bands.
During recording session, Frank Andiver, producer of the first album yet, become officially a member of the band, while Andrew Mc Pauls leaved definitively and got into LABYRINTH. This situation skidded "Twilight" went out in December '98. In "Twilight" as special guests have participated Vic Mazzoni (Projecto) at guitars and Andrea "The Tower" Torricini (VISION DIVINE, WONDERLAND) at bass.
The band stabilized with entrance of two new guitarists: Yackson and Ice Reaven. Starter a series of concerts in Italy, during this times the keyboarder Francis Scarlet enter in group and leave the band in winter 2000. Recorded their new full-length econd Floor between 1999-2000 but, ause several problems, released only single eroes in March 2000.
The full-length "Second Floor" has been released in January 2003.
At the moment the band is writing songs for the new album, non definitive title "Reflecting Minds" that will be released in 2005.

Zillion is a newcomer band in hard rock music with some heavyweights of the german and international music scene.
Guitar player and singer of the band is Sandro Giampietro. Sandro is best known as guitar player for the band SUPARED featuring former Helloween lead singer Michael Kiske. The German magazine Hammer rated him as "one of the top guitar players in Germany". He is also been working with such national artists as Ian Cussik, Helge Schneider and others and has been doing workshop for Marshall and Yamaha music.
Bass player is Jens Becker a well known face in the German heavy metal and hard rock scene. He is currently the bass player in the metal superstar band Grave Digger and he has also worked in the past with Running Wild and Kingdom Come.
On drums, Mike Terrana is the guarantee of a thunderous and technical drumming ! Currently drummer for Rage, Mike is one of the most respected drummers in the hard rock world boasting collaborations with Artension, Axel Rudi Pell, Yngwie Malmsteen and countless others.
Zillion is the result of a strong collaboration between such talented musicians. With a pretty original sound which melts influences from classic and melodic hard rock and classic heavy metal music, Zillion plan to be very soon a force to be reckoned with in the music scene

Because Constantine is a well-known guitar player, former Nightrage (melodic death/gothenburg metal) member, currently guitar player in Mystic Prophecy (german/greek power speed metal), Descending (melodic death thrash) and Nightfall (the legendary greek doom/black band). He is performing live with Primal Fear now as a live musician. So he plays in 4 big bands right now.
All of the aforementioned bands where he performs or has performed are in the metalstorm data base.
He already has an album (Shredcore) released in 2010 that really rocks.
Constantine is the name of the guitar player but also of his band.
Why Constantine (2)? Because there is already another band named Constantine and the system doesn't accept my suggestion, but the real name is Constantine... without (2).

There seems to be no end to the recent string of standout femme metal debuts and "Reflections" from Slovenia's Infidia is no exception. Boasting track after track of non-stop power metal heavy on symphonic influences, "Reflections" cranks up the guitars and keyboards from start to finish. Infidia vocalist Tina Kic took some time to talk to Femme Metal about the creation of the album, covering the Spice Girls and how to get more longhaired dudes to show up at your shows.
"Reflections" is a huge step from 2007's "Led By the Light" EP. What happened to the band - personally and musically - that influenced you to expand your musical palette?

ETERNAL FLAME's style of composition is characterized by original ideas and solid technical craftsmanship. Inspired by the styles of the 80's and 90's (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, RAINBOW und DEEP PURPLE) the actual strength of the band lies in its assimilation of today's sounds. The band combines transparent and up to date keyboard sounds with a well-established heavy guitar. ETERNAL FLAME's music includes sensitive ballads to guitar-dominated pieces of exiting riff-supported power songs next to compositions with classical quotations. The focus in their music is the brilliant and clear voice of MICHAEL SCHINKEL who already did the great vocal performance on germans power-metal-band STORMHAMMER. The band was founded in 1992 and released their debut album "Desire" in 1998 which spread the word of a great melodic hard rock band. "King Of The King" is the new album which sounds much more matured as it was well produced in the own homestudio. ETERNAL FLAME already presented the song "Hold On" exclusive at the icehockey play-off match of the Munich Barrons!

Shiva was formed in 2001 by Mats Edström and Anette Johansson. Mats, who is the guitarist, songwriter and producer of the band and Anette, who does the lead and background vocals and is also the co-producer, recorded their first album, simply called 'Shiva' with the help of a few guest musicians. The album was released in 2002 and got great reviews both in Europe and Japan.
Their second album, called 'Desert Dreams' was recorded in the same way as their debut and was released in 2004. The album was a bit heavier than their debut, but that didn't stop the album from getting great reviews again.
Now Shiva's third album, called 'The Curse Of The Gift' has seen the light of day. On this concept album Shiva has evolved into a real band. Mats Ottosson (guitars), Mattias Höijer (bass), Mikael Malmborg (drums) already played their parts on the first two Shiva albums, while Niclas Olson (keyboards) gives a wider dimension to Shiva's sound.
Some would describe our music as Melodic Progressive Rock / Metal but we simply describe it as modern Melodic Hard Rock.
The songs vary from from ballads to dark heavy rock in which the lyrics play quite an important role.
'The Curse Of The Gift' has been written over the past two years. As was the case with the first two albums we had complete creative freedom again and therefore no compromises were made whatsoever. We think we've taken the sound of Shiva one step further once again and while some of the new songs may take some more time to get used to, we only think that the progression of the band is a natural one, which will enable us to reach a new audience while keeping the old fans happy as well...

Formed in autumn 1995 in Colchester THE BLOOD DIVINE came together out of a desire for greater musical freedom amid a trend-obsessed music scene determined to compartmentalize bands at their inception.
"We're a band of five individuals playing intense, passionate music. Call it what you will. Our influences span the entire history of popular music, as far as back as the blues which after all is where all the best modern music comes from. Which isn't to say we're just trying to reheat last night's dinner - we simply take ingrediants from the past and mix them together with a nineties flavour. This whole thing of trying to slap a neat little label on bands stems from complacent journalists with the conveyer-belt corporate mentality. And we're not interested in that. Divisions between music are starting to blur and we would like to see more of this. The Blood Divine are about playing powerful music to anyone open-minded enough to want to listen."
