21:08 - E.Mols86 Actually the years after high school were way worse. I have done two educations (two degrees) and the first education wasn't so much fun, mildly put. The education I completed this year was much, much better, luckily.
21:04 - Zaphod Erik, it's all important, doesn't mean I have to like it. I like the creativity, calculations are just a thing that you have to do and you do it and it's done :P. Fritillaria, I hated high school for sure
21:04 - Fritillaria Yeah Erik I meant High School, I hated everything about my high school all the lessons there, pff! Erik no once he said he had a girlfriend, job and als he was studying so he has no more time for MS.
21:02 - E.Mols86 [link] He's dead? :P Cynic Metalhead, if good is equal to amazing, is bad then equal to mediocre? No offense, but this doesn't make any sense.
It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".
03.02.2012 - Imtholiel
Imtholiel is a new band and they are working on their single and album in these days. Their songs are mainly about fantasy worlds and stories with power metal sound and female vocals. Their single will be available soon and they have covers from different styles on their sites.
29.06.2013 - Nimlot
-1 A lot of accounts must have been created just to bump up this shameless act of self-promotion...
18.06.2013 - IronArkadius666
The band features 3 members from Isis, another post metal band already on MS, and the vocalist of Deftones.
It is more post-like than Isis and not quite as heavy, but it definitely deserves a place on MS, as it is reminiscent of bands like AtomA.
I believe that a lot of fans of bands like Isis, AtomA, Enshine, Aoria and other bands in that vein of music will greatly appreciate this band.
29.06.2013 - SyFFiLiS
"Heavy, stargazing rock outfit Palms was forged out of an explosive collision, as Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno joined forces with critically-lauded post-metal group ISIS". This should be enough said to add this band on MS.
04.07.2013 - tea[m]ster
Album is fantastic, put it on here!
07.07.2013 - Unhealer
Liking this album more and more each listen!
28.07.2013 - psykometal
Didn't hear any metal in this at all when I listened.
03.10.2013 - 3rdWorld
-1. And i do agree with Mr.Database manager. There isn't any metal in this at all. No need to die to get it added in here, cuz this doesn't deserve a place here. Not to mention their really crappy and bland debut. Pfft. >:(
24.10.2013 - ScreamingSteelUS
I don't understand why people insist on associating post-rock with metal. There is no metal here.
24.05.2012 - The Benighted
Corelia are a burgeoning progressive/technical metal band with a single EP under their belts. With a sound not unlike Protest the Hero and The Human Abstract, they've come across some especially interesting ideas along the way, with a stunning selection of songs, to boot. 'Nostalgia' was released in 2011, and I've been listening ever since. Highly recommended.
08.10.2012 - sentinel65
A modern throwback to the late '60s pre-metal movement. They perfectly combine psychedelic rock, doom metal, and horror themed lyrics for adventurous albums. They're popularity has been growing and growing.
02.12.2009 - Bastard Child
London based and out to offend everyone. Featuring members of Damnas and Inner Rage River Frehney have terrorized the UK underground with their no holds bar offensive comedy and hardcore thrash. Have played with ArnoCorps, Ring Wrom and Evile, toured with Nebukadnezza and have a number of EP's released.
05.06.2013 - psykometal
Needs at least one full length.
01.03.2013 - .:Nataras:.
Because i think we will see more good songs from them, and when i have heard their released songs which can be found on their Facebook page, i decided to promote them and help them to register their Band on well known metal forums and sites.
and i know they have not released an album yet, but will be release soon :))
08.07.2013 - SSM
I just listened to their music, they have the passion and enough skills. Looking forward to their debut.
25.07.2013 - LeKiwi
Songwriting needs a bit of work but they certainly have talent.
28.07.2013 - psykometal
Needs to release a full length.
20.03.2009 - Yossarian
Info in English here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Suaves
They should be here as Spain is a kind of important country as regards metal fans and this band is together with another 4 or 5 the most famous hard rock and rock band in the territory. Above all from Madrid northwards. They only reason why outsiders don't know them is the fact that they sing in Spanish. Otherwise, they would be popular enough for you.
Their music style is quite similar to The Ramones, Motorhead...The voice is let's say "peculiar". They are still active after 28 years and still selling out venues.
Their website appears to be in maintenance now.
27.01.2010 - ArcticWolf
Fastway are a British heavy metal band formed by guitarist, "Fast" Eddie Clarke, formerly of Motörhead, and bassist, Pete Way, formerly of UFO.
Don't think I need more reasons to explain why the band needs to be part of MS? Do You? I bet most of Motörhead and UFO fans are familiar with Fastway or know something about the band.
In addition, I am not able to find there official site, however I provided a link to there myspace page.
27.01.2010 - DayFly
AOR of the sticky, shmalzy kind
24.10.2013 - onedh
Fastway should be included in metalstorm.com ASAP. "Fast" Eddie Clarke delivers atrue amount of oldschool Heavy Metal. Also this band has been an influence for many other bands.
17.08.2012 - Vahumana.az

05.01.2013 - SSM
Superb performance + well-written instrumental songs. Definitely deserves a page here on MS. The Facebook link is incorrect, you can check the band correct page in the following link: https://www.facebook.com/traumatic.band. Also, the band name is "Traumatic", it's misspelled.

In the Autumn of 2008, CHAOS IN PARADISE started taking their first steps in a small garage in Oporto suburbs, where Alex and Quik began to outline the identity of the band.
After a few days, they started searching for other musicians to complete CHAOS IN PARADISE and after a while they found Pedro for guitar, 19 for bass and Sara for the vocal parts.
With the band as a whole, the quintet began writing their first Demo which came out in February 2010, including the songs "Dawn", "Heading North", "The Meaning of Being Imposed" and "Antagonized".
The band recorded the Demo at their own studio and released and distributed the four songs online for free!
After, CHAOS IN PARADISE began their live shows through Portugal, to promote their work and also to obtain experience as a band.
In the beginning of 2011, the band returned to the rehearsal room to start writing their following work, trying a new aproach to improve their sound, bringing their own identity to it and making it more coherent.
With the pre-production on the bagage, the recording sessions of the EP started in March 2011 at Soundvision Studios in Vila do Conde with Paulo Lopes in the co-production.
From the EP entitled "Let the Bliss Remain" the band released their first single "Awareness" to the fans and press, aquiring unanimous opinions expressing that their evolution and sound quality had a huge improvement.
With the "Let the Bliss Remain" presentation and release in June 2011, CHAOS IN PARADISE came back to the road to promote their EP in Portugal, having already some International shows in mind.
At the moment, they're planning to edit their first album in 2012.
28.07.2013 - psykometal
Needs at least one full length.
24.11.2013 - LeKiwi
Ugh those weak screams...a better vocalist would be a huge improvement.

Stamina is a french metal band founded by the keyboardist Gildas Vijay ROUSSEAU. In 2006 they released their debut album "Mess'Age" and currently work on the second album "Via Crucis".
30.04.2011 - Syk
Are they at all like Meshuggah or Nevermore?
16.02.2012 - hammercs
Technical, but also melodic metal from Hungary. They sing in Hungarian, which may be a setback, but the quality definitely beats the problem! They've recently released their third album, and have developed a name for themselves in Europe.
Syk: Yes, in the beginning, they were like Meshuggah, but since, incorporated lots of clean vocals and proggy stuff.
12.07.2013 - qlacs
It's a problem that WMD still not featured on MS. :P
24.02.2009 - warlock84
We are a young band trying to get our name out there and believe this site is a great tool to help with that. We are a true metal band, not that nu-metal or radio friendly junk. We all grew up listening to bands like Pantera, Slayer, Iced Earth, Testament, Kataklysm, Amon Amarth, etc and strive to bring back the old school heavy metal. We hope to record a demo this year and any press, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated.
03.06.2011 - ForlornSky
This band, although primarily Metalcore, deserves to be here by virtue of the sheer talent they have. They are truly remarkable and musically are amazing. They offer something new to the genre and fuse a lot of different styles together. They have 2 albums and deserve a place in Metal Storm database.
10.06.2011 - BlckMtlMelodies
Great sound. I'm having a crisis as they self refer as "Christian Metal"...what to do? +1
20.08.2012 - Uldreth
Very similiar to the neoclassical guitar playing in The Human Abstract, these guys are incredible. +1
12.12.2012 - Jay Bourque
Very good, the only thing core about them in my opinion are the vocals but I can look past that.
11.10.2013 - BaneConall
Their newest album Aletheia is pretty darn awesome! +1
30.11.2013 - errorcode99
religion should be completely personal blablabla... anyways, very good music!! +1
10.07.2010 - cursedestiny
The first impression offered by this band is a band of "teen and girls rock." but it can be seen behind a sound very "suomi metal", with distorted guitars, strong and active, with fast drums rolls powerful, emotional vocals, keyboards consistent with roles in the melodies, this is reminiscent of bands like HIM, The 69 Eyes Negative, Reflexion, Charon, Entwine or sometimes Nightwish. It is a band that makes music very "catchy" and commercial, close to pop music (especially in the vocals), but their sound and musical quality, based on merit of the musicians or producers is yet another example of versatile metal that has adopted in Finland. Unlike other pop rock bands with that finnish sound; as Negative, Lovex (for Now) can be called in some way: metal music. if you want to confirm what i say, i suggest you hear: If She's Near, Writings on the Wall, Anyone Anymore, Bleeding, Die a Little More. I hope that we agree. Thanks
24.05.2011 - Dark Light
so we can conclude that it should be added :)
05.07.2010 - *!*
SOUNDS LIKE? - METAL!!!!!!!!
WHAT STYLE? - Not a specific one. You could find anything in our music: doom, power, death, prog, black passings, atmospheric, speed... anything!
MALE VOX OR FEMALE? Male -for the time being at least!
"CLEAR/MELODIC" VOCALS? - Yes. That's the idea. Death vocals also included in some suitable cases.
FORMED WHEN? - Officially formed in 1996.
FIRST LINE-UP? - John Karousiotis (gtrs), Stelios Michas (gtrs), Kostas Aggouras (drums), Chris Kounelis (vox)
INACTIVITY? - Inactive (concerning live performance) during the 2002-2008 period. But in this "inactive" period we've been creating a huge number of songs. And therefore, that period was not that inactive!
RECORDINGS? - "Harmony Reams" demo 1996 (3 tracks), "When Purity Withers" 1999 (5 tracks), which both extracted amazing reviews all over the world. "WHEN PURITY WITHERS" was also named as the Best Underground release in the Jan 2000 Metal Hammer (GR), getting 9/10 by Spyros Antoniou (Septic Flesh), 9/10 by Euthimis Karadimas (Nightfall) and 8/10 by Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ).

Enter Twilight are a female fronted progressive metal band from Melbourne, Australia. Enter Twilight combines soaring melancholic soprano vocals with solid yet intricate music. You have download their songs free on their Last.fm page.
25.06.2010 - XbernieX
This band is one of the most brutal bands ever (search up 'time has come abyss of despair' on youtube). Though they are not that popular, their album 'White Fuzz' is gone within minutes at record stores, and their merchandise is gone within the blink of an eye by their fans who all go crazy for them. 'Time Has Come' satisfies the taste of underground metal fans who crave an even heavier taste for bands like Slayer, and venom, and 'Time Has Come' sure gives them what they want! Like I said before, these guys aren't that popular now, but give it time, and i'm sure these guys will be a hit worldwide once they start releasing more albums!
11.12.2011 - TiMeToÐie
Martyr A.D. was a metalcore band formed in late 1999 from former members of the band Disembodied. Joel Johnson(guitar), Tara Johnson(bass) and Justin Kane(drums) joined with newcomers Charlie Johnson(guitar) and Mike Fisketti(vocals). After the departures of Kane and Fisketti in 2002, Andrew Hart and Karl Hensel from Minneapolis band Holding On took over on vocal and drum duties, respectively.
They released their first album The Human Condition In Twelve Fractions with the indie label Ferret Music in 2001. Then on April 20, 2004 they released their second and last album, On Earth As It Is In Hell on Victory Records.
Martyr A.D. has toured with such bands as Poison the Well, Throwdown, The Haunted, and Walls of Jericho.
The band disbanded for unknown reasons in April of 2005. Johnson, (Anderson) Johnson and Johnson are currently playing in the reformation of Disembodied.

Fronted by vocalist Vilde Lockert, MAGENTA was formed in Norway in the summer of 1995 by Anders Odden, whose experience includes stints with bands such as APOPTYGMA BERZERK and CADAVER, as well as recording for SATYRICON, live guitarist with CELTIC FROST and guesting with MINISTRY.
Very catchy songs and beautiful melodies!
25.12.2010 - DTranquillity
An underrated beautiful band that deserves to be added for making them available to much more popularity.
16.06.2010 - ravendeath
Amazing band with ex members from Beseech. Should be in MS archive!
05.12.2010 - Elodie Artour
Formed in 2007 in Sweden by ex-Beseech members, The Mary Major grew to become an ambitious alternative act. Their debut album "04:13" was well-received in their homeland, given an approximate rating of 7. After the success of this release and some shows, as well, the band is currently working on its forthcoming effort with rough demos already recorded.
Given the fact that The Mary Major's music is generally based on Beseech's last album "Sunless Days," adding this new act to the list of Metal Storm bands could be a natural and fair, logical step.
15.06.2010 - grajales323

15.08.2011 - ravendeath
Very good band! Their 3rd album "The Funeral Domine" is also very good.
02.04.2013 - Daggon
Again, due to the lack of mexican bands in Metal Storm, I want to show everyone that top-notch music can be done everywhere.
Maligno plays Stoner Doom metal, just imagine your favorite Black Sabbath album (with Ozzy), with a boost of amazing Stoner feeling in it. They have three albums, "Maligno" (2006), "Universevil" (2008) and "The Funeral Domine" (2011) (this last one has collaborations of Alex Skolnick and mexican guitarists Rodrigo y Gabriela). Also they have shared stage with many well known bands as Metallica, Testament and Children Of Bodom. You should check it out, I hope you won't regret it, check their videos of "The Red Witch" and "Shine" and you'll know what I'm talking about.
