12:04 - ANGEL REAPER f*kin' managers....i will fire his ass ...OSC is greatest name ever ...
12:00 - ANGEL REAPER i wanna name my synth project as "Obscure Sex Cult"...is this a good idea...my manager says no...
11:39 - Redn1ght Heh. Yeah, they did have some Doom-ish influences here and there.
11:38 - Joodicator I've heard a song off the debut and I liked it. Need to properly check them out. I still find it weird how their mainman went from thrash to doing a load of doom metal projects :S
11:35 - Redn1ght Have you heard Seventh Angel btw? That might interest you if you liked Theocracy.
11:34 - Joodicator No idea. I got mine from Amazon/at the show. Might be worth a try though.
11:30 - Redn1ght That's cool. Yeah, they deserve more attention as they have very solid stuff. I haven't got any of the albums yet as I don't know if it's possible to get them through ordering from the store...
It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".
03.02.2012 - Imtholiel
Imtholiel is a new band and they are working on their single and album in these days. Their songs are mainly about fantasy worlds and stories with power metal sound and female vocals. Their single will be available soon and they have covers from different styles on their sites.

-1 A lot of accounts must have been created just to bump up this shameless act of self-promotion...
18.06.2013 - IronArkadius666
The band features 3 members from Isis, another post metal band already on MS, and the vocalist of Deftones.
It is more post-like than Isis and not quite as heavy, but it definitely deserves a place on MS, as it is reminiscent of bands like AtomA.
I believe that a lot of fans of bands like Isis, AtomA, Enshine, Aoria and other bands in that vein of music will greatly appreciate this band.
29.06.2013 - SyFFiLiS
"Heavy, stargazing rock outfit Palms was forged out of an explosive collision, as Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno joined forces with critically-lauded post-metal group ISIS". This should be enough said to add this band on MS.
04.07.2013 - tea[m]ster
Album is fantastic, put it on here!
07.07.2013 - Unhealer
Liking this album more and more each listen!
28.07.2013 - psykometal
Didn't hear any metal in this at all when I listened.
03.10.2013 - 3rdWorld
-1. And i do agree with Mr.Database manager. There isn't any metal in this at all. No need to die to get it added in here, cuz this doesn't deserve a place here. Not to mention their really crappy and bland debut. Pfft. >:(
24.10.2013 - ScreamingSteelUS
I don't understand why people insist on associating post-rock with metal. There is no metal here.
24.05.2012 - The Benighted
Corelia are a burgeoning progressive/technical metal band with a single EP under their belts. With a sound not unlike Protest the Hero and The Human Abstract, they've come across some especially interesting ideas along the way, with a stunning selection of songs, to boot. 'Nostalgia' was released in 2011, and I've been listening ever since. Highly recommended.
08.10.2012 - sentinel65
A modern throwback to the late '60s pre-metal movement. They perfectly combine psychedelic rock, doom metal, and horror themed lyrics for adventurous albums. They're popularity has been growing and growing.
02.12.2009 - Bastard Child
London based and out to offend everyone. Featuring members of Damnas and Inner Rage River Frehney have terrorized the UK underground with their no holds bar offensive comedy and hardcore thrash. Have played with ArnoCorps, Ring Wrom and Evile, toured with Nebukadnezza and have a number of EP's released.
05.06.2013 - psykometal
Needs at least one full length.
01.03.2013 - .:Nataras:.
Because i think we will see more good songs from them, and when i have heard their released songs which can be found on their Facebook page, i decided to promote them and help them to register their Band on well known metal forums and sites.
and i know they have not released an album yet, but will be release soon :))
08.07.2013 - SSM
I just listened to their music, they have the passion and enough skills. Looking forward to their debut.
25.07.2013 - LeKiwi
Songwriting needs a bit of work but they certainly have talent.
28.07.2013 - psykometal
Needs to release a full length.
20.03.2009 - Yossarian
Info in English here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Suaves
They should be here as Spain is a kind of important country as regards metal fans and this band is together with another 4 or 5 the most famous hard rock and rock band in the territory. Above all from Madrid northwards. They only reason why outsiders don't know them is the fact that they sing in Spanish. Otherwise, they would be popular enough for you.
Their music style is quite similar to The Ramones, Motorhead...The voice is let's say "peculiar". They are still active after 28 years and still selling out venues.
Their website appears to be in maintenance now.
27.01.2010 - ArcticWolf
Fastway are a British heavy metal band formed by guitarist, "Fast" Eddie Clarke, formerly of Motörhead, and bassist, Pete Way, formerly of UFO.
Don't think I need more reasons to explain why the band needs to be part of MS? Do You? I bet most of Motörhead and UFO fans are familiar with Fastway or know something about the band.
In addition, I am not able to find there official site, however I provided a link to there myspace page.
27.01.2010 - DayFly
AOR of the sticky, shmalzy kind
24.10.2013 - onedh
Fastway should be included in metalstorm.com ASAP. "Fast" Eddie Clarke delivers atrue amount of oldschool Heavy Metal. Also this band has been an influence for many other bands.

Superb performance + well-written instrumental songs. Definitely deserves a page here on MS. The Facebook link is incorrect, you can check the band correct page in the following link: https://www.facebook.com/traumatic.band. Also, the band name is "Traumatic", it's misspelled.

In the Autumn of 2008, CHAOS IN PARADISE started taking their first steps in a small garage in Oporto suburbs, where Alex and Quik began to outline the identity of the band.
After a few days, they started searching for other musicians to complete CHAOS IN PARADISE and after a while they found Pedro for guitar, 19 for bass and Sara for the vocal parts.
With the band as a whole, the quintet began writing their first Demo which came out in February 2010, including the songs "Dawn", "Heading North", "The Meaning of Being Imposed" and "Antagonized".
The band recorded the Demo at their own studio and released and distributed the four songs online for free!
After, CHAOS IN PARADISE began their live shows through Portugal, to promote their work and also to obtain experience as a band.
In the beginning of 2011, the band returned to the rehearsal room to start writing their following work, trying a new aproach to improve their sound, bringing their own identity to it and making it more coherent.
With the pre-production on the bagage, the recording sessions of the EP started in March 2011 at Soundvision Studios in Vila do Conde with Paulo Lopes in the co-production.
From the EP entitled "Let the Bliss Remain" the band released their first single "Awareness" to the fans and press, aquiring unanimous opinions expressing that their evolution and sound quality had a huge improvement.
With the "Let the Bliss Remain" presentation and release in June 2011, CHAOS IN PARADISE came back to the road to promote their EP in Portugal, having already some International shows in mind.
At the moment, they're planning to edit their first album in 2012.
28.07.2013 - psykometal

Stamina is a french metal band founded by the keyboardist Gildas Vijay ROUSSEAU. In 2006 they released their debut album "Mess'Age" and currently work on the second album "Via Crucis".
30.04.2011 - Syk
Are they at all like Meshuggah or Nevermore?
16.02.2012 - hammercs
Technical, but also melodic metal from Hungary. They sing in Hungarian, which may be a setback, but the quality definitely beats the problem! They've recently released their third album, and have developed a name for themselves in Europe.
Syk: Yes, in the beginning, they were like Meshuggah, but since, incorporated lots of clean vocals and proggy stuff.
12.07.2013 - qlacs
It's a problem that WMD still not featured on MS. :P
24.02.2009 - warlock84
We are a young band trying to get our name out there and believe this site is a great tool to help with that. We are a true metal band, not that nu-metal or radio friendly junk. We all grew up listening to bands like Pantera, Slayer, Iced Earth, Testament, Kataklysm, Amon Amarth, etc and strive to bring back the old school heavy metal. We hope to record a demo this year and any press, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated.
03.06.2011 - ForlornSky
This band, although primarily Metalcore, deserves to be here by virtue of the sheer talent they have. They are truly remarkable and musically are amazing. They offer something new to the genre and fuse a lot of different styles together. They have 2 albums and deserve a place in Metal Storm database.
10.06.2011 - BlckMtlMelodies
Great sound. I'm having a crisis as they self refer as "Christian Metal"...what to do? +1
20.08.2012 - Uldreth
Very similiar to the neoclassical guitar playing in The Human Abstract, these guys are incredible. +1
12.12.2012 - Jay Bourque
Very good, the only thing core about them in my opinion are the vocals but I can look past that.
11.10.2013 - BaneConall
Their newest album Aletheia is pretty darn awesome! +1
30.11.2013 - errorcode99
religion should be completely personal blablabla... anyways, very good music!! +1

The specific time of disbandment is unknown.
13.11.2013 - Jeebneus
Perfect metal music for Roadburn-lovers, Sea of Bones has already 2 full lenghts out (The Harvest in 2007 and more recently The Earth Wants Us Dead). Bleak atmosphere, dirty vocals.
13.11.2013 - JamesVC

11.11.2013 - blacksoul69
Melodic Death Metal - Generally associated with sweating, raving, evil-looking guys in big halls cheering to a band which looks and acts quiet similar.
CRIMSON show up, that a male-fronted, but female instrumented combination indeed appeal a broad audience: Four girls with guitar, bass and drums form a solid basis of thundering doublebase, groovy basslines and catchy riffs (Oldschool- Black-/ Detah-Metal) accompanied by heavy male growls and shouts.
The idea of the 4+1-combination arose 2009 in a Metal pub in Essen, Germany.
The unique CRIMSON style is inspired by Amon Amarth, Godgory, Insomnium, In Flames.
10.11.2013 - Syk
Formed 1995 under the name Bloodshed, released a couple demos and then debuted with 'Tales beyond Oblivion' in 2004. Finally they released a follow-up early this year entitled 'Afterbirth', self-released but with heavy-hitting vocals from Mats Levén (has sung for At Vance, Yngwie, Candlemass, Krux, Therion + MANY other classy guest appearances)
10.11.2013 - Syk
Career 1987 to 1996 produced only one album... some have claimed this to be among the most technically mad/accomplished of the first wave of death metal, just see http://www.metalstorm.net/forum/topic.php?topic_id=11339 high praise from some trusted veterans of this metal community we have here. I'm sure they'll accrue a number of new fans by the end of the year just from me posting this here (take a listen and prove me wrong!)
10.11.2013 - Syk
Formed in 1996 under the name Euthanasia, then released four albums including some 2CDs with Hungarian on one disc and English on the other. Latest was 'Primordial Soul' in 2011 on Nail Records. Apparently the debut 'Divine Orgy' (Nephilim Recs, 2000) was remastered in 2005 and you may or may not be able to find its track #8 "The Crown of Pain" by searching on youtube.com

These guys are possibly the best successors to the Guns N Roses throne so far. Both of their albums (Viva La Decadence (2010) and A Nightmare Living The Dream (2012)) are great listens and should appeal to fans of (pre-Chinese Democracy) Guns N Roses and Skid Row (Sebastian Bach fronted).
08.11.2013 - Dark Forever
