04:49 - Redn1ght Closest thing to death I've felt was when I had to do some badass-level ab workouts in TKD class. xD (I wasn't as fit back then.)
04:44 - Dima We did it for an 1hr straight. Team ran a square route in a 2 line formation. The 2 people at the front would sprind around the square to reach the back of the line. It was closest thing to death i've felt but worth it big time
04:42 - Dima That's what we did for football training. We got fit abnormally quickly. Though, you likelywon't last as long as you could because you don't have a coach getting ready to let his lungs off at you if you quit.
04:36 - Redn1ght Something like what I was implying, short laps equivalent of that length. It's only good for endurance once you got basics down. :P
04:35 - Dima jogging on its own is pretty gheeyyy imo. Based on my expereience, sprint jog interval training is much more beneficial.
04:28 - Redn1ght What I've found is that doing it in short sets gets better result than long ones, like not 1 hour runs but rather shorter runs that equal to the same distance.
04:16 - !J.O.O.E.! My diet was terrible, though under 2500 calories. And I've never been overweight. Well within my BMI.
It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

The Canadian rock band was popular in the late 1970s through the 1980s. Triumph began building their reputation across North America as a live band, peaking in the early 1980s as an import before interest gradually declined. Today, the power trio continue to receive radio airplay on Classic Rock stations and are perhaps best remembered for their positive message songs and their vibrant energetic concerts, complete with extravagant pyrotechnical light shows. Their popularity was extremely strong in Texas, where they first received strong radio attention; but, they were stellar standouts at California's US Festival, and garnered a considerable fan base and radio attention by regularly touring the world, especially throughout North America and Europe. Like their fellow Canadians Rush and Saga.

If Journey and Rush are on this site, so should Triumph. Rik Emmett is a guitar god!
22.01.2012 - malymich
this band definitely deserves place on this site!
15.09.2014 - Kitharistas87
I agree that this band deserves place on this site. It's one of the finest hard rock/progressive rock bands of Canada.
08.09.2015 - Guib
Totally agree Triumph's got to be added.
15.06.2014 - God Alone
Okay, they're not metal; but they surely were/are a huge influence for some industrial/post-metal bands like Godflesh or Neurosis.
I've seen a lot of (great) bands here that have nothing to do with metal at all (Current 93 for example), so... I thought that the almighty Swans could have a chance to be featured on MS. :)
19.06.2014 - Syk
C93 were reviewed by a staffer a long, long time ago. I'm quite confident they'd never be seen here but for that fact. Don't get swanhopes up ;)
22.06.2014 - Ilham
They really have nothing to do here despite being a great band that still produces great records.
19.02.2015 - Hank80AF
They have a very unique style in his music, very personal and quite complex.
17.06.2015 - Bardusk
Swans is a must here. And yes, they are more metal than most of metal bands.
12.08.2015 - AlbusNox
They are not metal at all!!! Are u serious people?! Let's bring The Beatles on MS... Because they were a huge influence for some heavy metal bands... C'mon it's METAL STORM not MUSIC STORM!!!!

Corvus is a Melodic Metal band from Ukraine. They released their debut album "Raven Rising" in 2012.

Royal Corvus band was formed in September 2005 and the first band name was Corvus. The name was borrowed from Latin, it translates - the Raven. It is a symbol of the wisdom in most ancient religions of the world. Raven is a carrier of souls across the River of Eternity and a binding link between the fragile edge of the World of Shadows and the World of the Living. Initially, the Corvus band was created as a melodic symphonic gothic metal project, but in the process of development and quality growth joins itself the best of the different trends and styles of rock. Now Royal Corvus band has created more than thirty Russian and English-language songs. Song's sound is very different: from romantic ballads to hard and progressive rock. And nobody of the listeners will not remain indifferent, because everyone will find something in this music for themselves. All this different musical styles are merged in one unique style - Corvus style. Besides his own works band plays covers of classic rock and pop songs. During its long history Royal Corvus band many times was engaged in various kinds of rock and bike festivals in Kharkov, and outside it. The Royal Corvus band received invitations and performed in support to rock stars as: Master, Sergey Mavrin, Epidemia, Catharsis, and vocalist of the legendary bands Rainbow and Deep Purple - Joe Lynn Turner. April 28, 2012 the Corvus band has presented their debut album - Raven Rising. October 24, 2012 Royal Corvus was official support group of SCORPIONS in Kharkov as part of the farewell tour "FINAL STING TOUR" .

Not quite a metal band, but seeing that other hard rock or glam bands are featured, I do not see why these guys shouldn't be here. Great White is one of the better bands from that thoroughly commercial movement of the 80s.

Adrián Barilari with the keyboardist Hugo Bistolfi, who also left Rata Blanca in 1994, form Alianza, with many musicians sessions, which were the only members permanently was Barilari and Bistolfi. The duo explore ballads sound with more keyboard presence than Rata Blanca. Alianza did not have much impact in Argentina, but in other Latin American countries. They edited three albums Sueños del Mundo (1994), Alianza (1997), and Huellas (1999).

AraPacis (Ara-Patches) is a female fronted metal band hailing from Montreal, Canada. Formed in 2003 by guitarist Jerry Fielden, their main goal was to re-create some of the orignal aspects of 1970's Hard Rock and Progressive Rock and fuse it together with early 21st Century Progressive, Doom & Gothic Metal to make an interesting metal hybrid. Their debut album ''So Many Leapers'' was released in April of 2006. and their second album ''Consequences Of Dreams'' was released on October 5, 2009. The band is now working on their 3rd album.
22.04.2011 - Jerryfie
AraPacis is more Classic/Prog Metal than Metalcore, AraPacis has shared the stage with The Agonist, Raven and Anvil, amongst other bands.

Not metalcore... somethin' else. Appeared with the closing track on this femme-metal (voices) compilation http://www.metalstorm.net/bands/album.php?album_id=32808 Third album 'Netherworld' released end of 2011 on Ravenheart Music, and 'Déjà-Vu' EP self-released at end of March, this year (now available for free DL from the band's site, along with about six other older songs) (it appears DV EP is 4 re-recordings of older songs - so you can hear So Many Leapers' title-track twice, and find the advances they've made over 7 years)

One of the most promising bands in the early 90's, unfortunately later they changed drasticaly their style. they deserve to be in MS, because their first two studio albums "Sweet X-Rated Nothings" and "Twinaleblood" are real masterpieces in doom death gothic metal.
06.02.2014 - Baribal
"Ignis Creatio" and "Waves Of Erotasia" were so good EPs, the debut album "Sweet X-Rated Nothings" was good too. "Twinaleblood" was okay, everything after was crap (Alternative Rock).
14.06.2015 - lond
This band should most definitely be featured on MS at least by reason of the first two LPs they released.

It's a band that have more than 5 years playing and recording metal, also they have 3 Full-length albums...even their facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/empiresofeden) has more than 1000 followers...I think would be pretty fair added them to the page! :D
28.08.2015 - moXmo
This young band, which will soon release their first album, got their inspiration from band such as Obscura and Necrophagist (Their band's guitarist is Christian Münzner's student)

I think Wrath Sins it's a new force of the portuguese underground movement, recently being added to the roster of RAISING LEGENDS RECORDS, with their debut album "Contempt Over The Stormfall" being something that will mark their scene.
25.08.2015 - maglor
When Downtempo-Hardcore and Doomcore meet. There's talk about the Black Tongue and their down tuned guitars, bloodcurdling vocals and breakdowns that would break every single bone in a mosh pit.
28.08.2015 - Bad English
doomcore is not a genre , you mean sludge?

Imaginary Tribe was founded in February 2014 by Steve Resler and Mark Spitz. Originally conceived as a cover/original band Steve and Mark soon realized the power and emotion of their own music should be the focus. Imaginary Tribe's sound is a mixture of heavy riffs, powerful beats, multiple musical styles with a heavy backdrop, and catchy lyrics.
21.08.2015 - diamondblack
With energetic shows, clearly reflecting the exact emotion being dealt with in the track, CROSSING EDGE is shredding their way from the first minute until the very last breath of the album's twelve songs. Unique melodic vocals dueling with severe shouts, massive guitar riffs turning up like endless walls corresponding well with magnificently well elaborated lead guitars are accompanied by tight bass-lines and aggressive drums stirring every headbanger's blood.

Incordia is a 2012 founded, uprising Melodic Death Metal Band from Germany (Darmstadt) with female fronted growl vocals. They are an awesome viking band with a very impressing live-show und a good first studio-album in early 2015. In my opinion they deserve some more people supporting them.

Created with the purpose to do a cannabic and satanic noise with a lot of humour, MUFA is on the road since 2008. Some changes of members along the time, the band still on the same formation since 2011 and finally 2015 releasing their debut album "Brutality Show", recorded and mixed in Magma Studio, São Paulo. Released fully of independent form. To legalize the blasphemy in original compositions, MUFA is inspired by human filth which is seen in all society, that gives form to the violent and brutal sound of the band.
The main influences to MUFA are bands like Cannibal Corpse, Slayer, Hatebreed, Black Sabbath, Sepultura and even yet the brazilian soul master Tim Maia, making the sound of the band totally out of a single genre.

Winter Calling is an American hard rock/metal band formed in Florida in 2013. The band consists of Chris Hodges (vocals), Ian Medhurst (guitar), Tim Gilbreath (bass), and Wayne Hoefle (drums, piano, keys).
Winter Calling began as a side project for Wayne, who was composing film music at the time, and Ian, who was touring with the John Wesley Band. Upon finding a bit of magic with their early song-writing efforts, the two recruited Texas-bred, guitarist-turned-bassist Tim Gilbreath. The three continued composing their unique blend of rock and began an extensive search for a vocalist to complete the group. Their search led them to the "land of dreams" and LA based performing artist, Chris Hodges. Chris proved to be everything they were looking for in a vocalist and more!
Together the four honed their dynamic sound, best described as a synergistic blend of progressive rock, old-school metal, and film music, and embarked on recording Winter Calling's debut album "As Darkness Falls".

The Portuguese grinders are blessed with a great sound and the humour is speaking for itself.
Hilarious intro's and some pretty awesome grind sound. The different vocals are topping it off. Growls, screams and pigsqueals are passing the revue. They like the breaks to get samples in and it makes it sound cool.

Agent Fresco shows the softer side of Djent, with their second full-legth, Destrier, they show the highest level of quality not only on the music, but also on video and concept. They can combine sound from beautiful piano landscapes to heavy hitting Djent bass-lines. Plus, they are from Iceland.
