00:01 - Bad English yes but she is strong in Eluveitie ... Sara van der Scnitzel wont work
23:52 - MichaelGrimley Anna doesn't have nearly the potential of Tarja. She can make it in a folk band but her singing can't hold up by itself. She has a nice voice for what it is. But that talent pool is very limited to her. She's NOT a strong singer.
It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Not quite a metal band, but seeing that other hard rock or glam bands are featured, I do not see why these guys shouldn't be here. Great White is one of the better bands from that thoroughly commercial movement of the 80s.

Royal Corvus band was formed in September 2005 and the first band name was Corvus. The name was borrowed from Latin, it translates - the Raven. It is a symbol of the wisdom in most ancient religions of the world. Raven is a carrier of souls across the River of Eternity and a binding link between the fragile edge of the World of Shadows and the World of the Living. Initially, the Corvus band was created as a melodic symphonic gothic metal project, but in the process of development and quality growth joins itself the best of the different trends and styles of rock. Now Royal Corvus band has created more than thirty Russian and English-language songs. Song's sound is very different: from romantic ballads to hard and progressive rock. And nobody of the listeners will not remain indifferent, because everyone will find something in this music for themselves. All this different musical styles are merged in one unique style - Corvus style. Besides his own works band plays covers of classic rock and pop songs. During its long history Royal Corvus band many times was engaged in various kinds of rock and bike festivals in Kharkov, and outside it. The Royal Corvus band received invitations and performed in support to rock stars as: Master, Sergey Mavrin, Epidemia, Catharsis, and vocalist of the legendary bands Rainbow and Deep Purple - Joe Lynn Turner. April 28, 2012 the Corvus band has presented their debut album - Raven Rising. October 24, 2012 Royal Corvus was official support group of SCORPIONS in Kharkov as part of the farewell tour "FINAL STING TOUR" .

Innate Concept's musical identity is rooted in the Progressive Metal genre - and the word "progression" is to be taken literally. Innate Concept strives to incorporate elements, instruments and ideas normally not found in classic Progressive Metal. The newest album "Sunset In Our Eyes" combines elements from electronica and classical elements into a whole new and unique sound. A multitude of synthesizers create the atmosphere, color and texture, the mighty Taiko drum ensemble delivers power, groove and impact, while the Armenian Duduk conjures up ethereal melodies, adding yet another layer to the rich-bodied symphonic orchestra. A piano and various acoustic guitars are another integral part of melodic storytelling and quite frequently intertwine with other instruments. All of this takes place planted firmly on the foundation of thundering drums, shredding guitars and a nasty, angry bass. Innate Concept's music is challenging, demanding, cunning, powerful, intense, yet so delicate and fragile. Be prepared, for it will demand your full attention - and it will surprise you if you dare a listen. Debut album can be purchased at http://www.innateconcept.com/shop/

To Wither never started, it just existed, as Simon Larsen (Iskald, Skaur), and Isak Larsen (Skaur) composed the first song in the winter of 2004/2005. They played in some other bands at that time, but wanted to do something different from the others, and the sound of To Wither was to be a little more vulnerable and melodic with a different vocal style.
The music of To Wither is melancholic metal with fragile clean vocals and harmonies, heavy guitars and passionate drumming, which mainly are inspired by bands such as Katatonia and Swallow the Sun. The lyrical theme is mainly about the human mind, dark thoughts and sorrow, as every listener can recognize themselves in them.
After some years of composing songs, they chose the best ones and did a re-record of them at their own studio, which was to be the full-length "Ending Days". The process of recording did take lots of time and energy, but the result is exactly how it was supposed to be.
2012 will be the year To Wither is releasing their first album, and they will also be seen on a stage soon...

TANTRICA is a band from Castellón (Spain) that begins in 2010 with a group of friends who play covers for fun from metal bands such as IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA, JUDAS PRIEST or HELLOWEEN. After some time and line-up changes, the band takes the initiative of composing original music and it is in 2012 when the first shows arrive in local bars of Castellón where they play their own music and some covers. Their drummer leaves the band in that time for personal reasons, and after a new drummer joins the band they focus on preparing the recording of their first release contributing to a new point of view to the songs previously created.
In May of 2013, when the moment of entering the studio arrives they meet Ruk Nebur, member of the band KILLUS, with whom they enter in Hell's Studio to record their first release, an EP formed by five tracks. Ancient New World comes to light in September of the same year, and from that moment the band begins to prepare shows to present it in different localities of Spain. In the first one they have the opportunity of being the supporting act for the legendary band OBUS.
During 2014 the band does interviews and receives good reviews of Ancient New World by Spanish and international media from countries such as Mexico, United Kingdom, Brazil, United States or Canada to name a few. At the start of the year, their keyboard player abandons the line-up and the band keeps presenting Ancient New World in venues and festivals while making new songs in regards of going again into the studio and making more gigs.
After the first shows in 2015, TANTRICA enters again in Hell's Studio with Ruk Nebur to record the drums of what will be their first full-length album. In that year, the band keeps bringing its music to different cities while recordings carry on. When the Ancient New World presentation tour comes to an end, their drummer Jose leaves the band, and the rest of the band go straight on with the recording.
At the beginning of 2016, Jose returns to Tantrica drums, allowing the band to carry on their projects with the same lineup.

Promising melodic death / doom metal band from Finland. Formed in 2012, they've released an EP (Kaunis Kuolematon), a single (En Ole Mitaän) and one full length album (Kylmä Kaunis Maailma) thus far.
Their current label is Violent Journey Records. I discovered them through a random youtube suggestion. From all reviews I've seen so far it's gotten above average positive reviews. And personally I loved it after hearing it as well.
Might be interesting to look into this band, it has only formed in 2012 so I expect to hear more material from them in the future.

Metal archives thought didn't agree, but I feel that metal is very prevalent in this. "Dybbuk Communion" is completely drone/death doom, and while it's not based around riffs, I think it's easily recognized as metal. "Lithomancy" is a very post-metal inspired atmospheric black track. "Swear the Spirit By Laying His Hand on the Sword" is more atmospheric/blackened drone, just buried deep under thick walls of noise. "Lucifre" has a doom feel to it, and the most conventional drumming. Sure, it leans heavily toward the general drone side, and combines many influences from ritual ambient and noise, but all that up there leads me to consider it metal.
