It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

They play Melodic Death Metal/Metalcore and with their debut EP "The Dawn", it seems like they have a fucking potential to break into the mainstream scene of Melodic Death Metal/Metalcore acts. They are really good.

The reason why I believed this band should be here is because they are an upcoming band that has became popular rapidly. Them and babymetal are the bands in this generation that are bringing something to the game of metal with wagakki band they are using traditional Japanese folk instrument and mixing it with metal and it sounds amazing. That is my reason of them being in this website thank you for your time

They are an up and coming Canadian band, performing original styled, different music in an otherwise repetitive, monotonous world. They sign about important topics in addition to the usual nonsense. They have release 2 studio EP's and numerous live recordings so far, and are working on a full length album currently.

Brutal and technically proficient Death Metal band. Two full Length Albums titled: With Flesh Unbound in 2010 and Iconoclasm in 2013 which is well worth listening to in full via: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcAF6rq-oWQ

Silent Elegy is a symphonic metal, soprano female fronted band from China. Their debut album has just been released and I can assure anyone who likes symphonic or symphonic power metal bands that this band is totally worth listening to.
Many will find the vocalist's voice is really close to Tarja's voice in her early years with Nightwish.
In summary, a great symphonic metal band with a soprano female fronted vocalist which is perfectly suitable for this website.
My favourite three songs from their debut album "Gone with the Wind" are (Redemption, Valkyries and Indelible Memory).

BARK is a new pack of Antwerp stray dogs of extreme sound. Infectious dirty riffs and a voice that tears your speakers apart. They serve their tunes raw, unpolished, gritty and dark!
Ive seen the band lately and was blown away by their energy!! this longed for more and there debut cd Voice Of Dog is awesome !!
they play at graspop 2016 and nummers festivals in europe !!

The band is from Paris and completed its line up in 2010 featuring members of HKY and Quartier Rouge.
REMOTE's music could be defined as a chaotic, aggressive kind of post-hardcore with a hint of dark noise. It's inspired by every negative feelings. Each song displays its own atmosphere either straight & intense, heavy or oppressing.
I think this kind of music should be share with all the Metal Storm Community.

This is a weird band. Weird in a good way. Zeal and Ardor somehow mixes genres that have little to no connection to one another, and manages to do so in a way that is seamless and brilliant. Blood in the River is one of the most addicting songs I've listened to in years--if you want to know why the Devil is Fine, give that song, and the whole album, a listen.
(P.S. negro spirituals is an actual genre name and it's the only term I can really think of to describe this music)

I am suggesting to add Warfather to Metal Storm because It is good death metal in the vein of Morbid Angel. Warfather is one of Steve Tuckers projects. I think his main project next to Morbid Angel. The first release ("Orchestrating the Apocalypse" ) was released 2014. Aside from an old school production the record had mainly positive reviews. The follow up is about to be released this year (Greyhaze Records) and was produced by Erik Rutan.
Though one of the rather "generic" DM bands I think this is one of the best and more promising.

"Devil I Know is a fresh breath of American-style melodic hard rock. The band's songs do contain some familiar elements but these guys are no copycats - they have their own sound and that sound happens to be pretty damn good! Driven by catchy singalong choruses, heavy rock riffs and high-quality production, Devil I Know is on its way to something bigger. Their songs have already received airplay on various rock-oriented radio stations in Finland, UK, US and Canada. Their self-titled debut album, preceded by the digital single "Scream And Shout", was released on November 2nd 2012." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmlvcWzSxtY
