It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".
28.05.2013 - Cynic Metalhead
They play Melodic Death Metal/Metalcore and with their debut EP "The Dawn", it seems like they have a fucking potential to break into the mainstream scene of Melodic Death Metal/Metalcore acts. They are really good.
20.12.2013 - Brian Z
They are an up and coming band from Somerset County, New Jersey. They are unsigned, and have already been featured on We Are Triumphant Records' "Unsigned and Unherd" compilation CD that promotes unsigned bands who deserve to be recognized. They've sold out numerous shows along their local tours and are set to move throughout the USA in the summer of 2014. Their EP "Idylls" came out Tuesday (12/17/13) which is why I waited until today to suggest the band. Every band has to begin and putting themselves on the map, including being a part of Metal Storm would be huge progress for them. Sign 'em up!!
20.12.2013 - RottingDeathHead
These Danish death metallers have been around since 2005 and have manged to release one solid death metal album back in 2012 entitled "Execution Of The Weak". An album that brings all the proper ingredients to mix together a masterpiece of brutality.

19.12.2013 - LeKiwi
"Influenced by the scandinavian extreme-prog scene, but at the same time free from the US heavy-prog technical excesses, the band developped a new kind of ambiant metal, featuring sophisticated structures." For fans of Leprous, Pain Of Salvation, Shaolin Death Squad, and Opeth's acoustic verses :)

"Two weirdos get together to express themselves in all possible genres they can, only sent through the prism of metal." Solid experimental metal...really.

18.12.2013 - Alien1988
Algor is possibly the best black metal band from Slovak Republic. Their first album Uder pohanskeho hnevu is a classic of Slovak BM (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBWXUPdyYLE). They released their second album Hierofania this year with some great atmospheric and aggressive tracks (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tz_d8JRpSM8).
18.12.2013 - yeah1980
This is the band of Mike Mills (guest on Ayreon's "The Theory of Everything" album). It's basically a one-man band. They recorded a crazy amount of EP's, changing style every time, in my opinion metal is one of the main influence. Plus, a full lenght album is out and another one in on its way.
18.12.2013 - Moosh666

16.12.2013 - LeKiwi
"Imagine if a death metal band embraced many of the ideas of black metal: Psychedelic tendencies, experimental and bizarrely broken-up songwriting, schizophrenic ever-shifting vocals, and harrowing atmosphere. You'd have a fucked-up take on death metal like it's rarely been heard before. This is is indeed seriously fucked-up music that constantly jars you into a new place, a new vision, a new way of hearing madness." - Austin Weber, www.nocleansinging.com.
