It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Michael Kiske and Amanda Somerville are two of the most important voices in metal. I think their album would do a great addition to the site. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FBaxEUkjbM

I've got the album. It's good, but both singers turn in poor performances, by their standards.
Anyway, I'd say no, it's rock rather than metal, but I wouldn't complain if it were added.
edit: Ah, fuck it. Tick.

I would have thought they would be on here all ready... They were the first band to play slam death metal! The few albums they have out are all pretty good, as well as a new one being released at the end of September this year, GET HYPED

DEFORMATORY have been active since 2008.
Their debut album, "In The Wake of Pestilence", was released in December of 2013 and has been a great success in the underground, technical death metal community.
As a result, they netted a deal with CDN Records, and are currently in the process of recording their second full-length album.
Their music is not your typical tech-death-wankery. They really incorporate their old school influences, hooky riffs, and free-time feel (a la old Cryptopsy)
Plus. They're Canadian! Anything tech-death that comes out of Canada is stellar.
They should be on Metal Storm.
And, I will check in regularly to make sure they are! ;)
Thanks for your consideration.

I think they are history to the rock music, and it would like to some people here.

nope. rock is not METAL. c'mon - be more relevant!
(seriously; Elvis, Beethoven/Bach, The Beatles and Chuck Berry are similarly important to the history, but they will never be added here. some old punk girls like Heart or Joan Jett are just not relevant enough, sorry)

I like them, but they don't belong here. And you spelled the name wrong anyway.

Amazing Instrumental Progressive Metal Band! Similar to Liquid Tension Experiment. So far only one album released in 2008.
Daniele Liverani's new project COSMICS mark their debut with the instrumental concept album "THE COSMIC YEAR".The album,a collection of 10 tracks within a melodic and progressive metal setting are based around the keyboard wizardry of Daniele Liverani(TWINSPIRITS,GENIUS,KHYMERA),along with special guest drummer Virgil Donati(STEVE VAI,PLANET X,RING OF FIRE),young guitar hotshot Tommy Ermolli(TWINSPIRITS,KHYMERA)and respected bassist Rufus Philpot(PLANET X)show that progressive music can be both accessible and intelligently written.

Power Metal at its best. With this private pressing, there are no wishes left unfulfilled. Feels like getting back to the glorious 80ies. One of the best private pressings in these trend-contaminated times. And the best is yet to come cause vocalist Dan Stanley sounds very similar to the "master of voice" Mr. Kimball of eternal Metal Gods OMEN. Unfortunately, the first issue of this CD only contained five songs with 26 min. playing-time. But fortunately, it has been reissued in 1997 with four bonus tracks of the same outstanding quality. Buying this CD is a definite MUST for all Metalheads! Buy or die !!!

Black Light Machine are a band based in South Wales who combine progressive music, metal and classic rock into their own distinctive sound. Aggressive, technical, hook-laden songs that are written purely for the love of the riff.
Made up of members linked to Iron Maiden, Thin Lizzy, Wishbone Ash and more, they have released their debut album 'The Hanging Tree'.
Live, they are something else, bringing a full - on rock show full of passion, experience and quality songwriting.
