RAPTVRE was born in February 2018 as the ugly yet ambitious love child of Kirill Gromada (mastermind of Ayahuasca and Pripjat) and Stefan Braunschmidt (Shitshifter and NVRVD) and explores the abyssal depths of Black-, Death- and Progressive-Metal with a dissonant and abrasive twist. Searing guitarlines unite with blazing drums backed up by a pounding bass to dissolve into countless layers of a disturbing, eerie atmosphere that defines the band's identity.

While Kirill covers all the guitarwork in RAPTVRE and Stefan contributes his basslines and lyrics, both equally share songwriting-duties for all instruments with deep admiration for each other's work and abilities. RAPTVRE's music is the result of two seamlessly connecting minds that try to push the limits of their musical environment to the most extreme.
