Biography

Jorge Salán is renowned by critics and audiences as one of the best rock musicians on the scene today. This guitarist/singer who was born in Madrid in 1982, was awarded a scholarship by the prestigious Berklee College (Boston), where he spent a year studying.

His intense career has been spectacular. Since releasing his first album at the age of 19, he now has seven solo albums under his belt and is also the lead guitarist of the Jeff Scott Soto Band.

He has toured throughout the world presenting his solo work or accompanying other artists. Highlights being concerts in Mexico City, opening for Michael Schenker (UFO, Scorpions), and the San Javier Jazz Festival (Murcia), one of the most prestigious in Spain and where he recorded his solo album "Live at San Javier."

With Jeff Scott Soto he has toured Brazil, Argentina and throughout Europe playing in the most prestigious rock festivals on the old continent, most notably Bang your Head and Rock of Ages, both in Germany, sharing the stage with bands like Alice Cooper, Helloween and Slayer.

He played guitar for American singers Fiona and Robin Beck at the Firefest Festival in Notthingam, England alongside Gotthard, Tyketto and Danger Danger. He continued playing for Robin Beck on every concert of his European tour.
