Biography

2004: Blasphemous creature named APOSTHATE were born in 2004, joining together members of extreme metal bands THY ANTHEM FADES and HERETICAL. This alliance give birth to a first born evil, whose roots drive in violence and antichristianity.Many different meanings can be found in this tsunami of thrash, death and black called APOSTHATE: the hate for every kind of lack of culture and modern society and for every kind of religion; love and passion for horror movies. The quintet is formed by P.B. Midgard (Thy Anthem Fades, Afteglow) guitars, Azmeroth (heretical, Thy Anthem Fades) guitars, Rasez Hoccult (Heretical) drums, Sakar (Heretical) bass and Orias vocals.

2005: It's the year of debut with the Mcd FIRST BORN EVIL, out for TAF Production; 24 minutes full of anger and violence, divided in 8 tracks, composed by the "Azmeroth / P.B. Midgard / Rasez" trio; already from the title are clear the devastating intents of the band that a first born evil gives birth, an unstoppable launched war machine to insane speed that doesn't take prisoners!!! Thanks to the work of TAF Production and Necrotorture agency, the Mcd makes the turn of the globe receiving good feedbacks, making to increase the fame of the band; fame besides confirmed by devastating live culminated by support act for Natron and Death Dies and as headliner to the first chaotica metal feast (festival organized by Taf Production).

2006: If 2005 was closed in excellent way, 2006 surely is the year of search of stability. The apparitions live that the most congenial center of the band is confirmed but at the same time follow 2 changes of line up ; the band decides to get further the bassist Sakar and to enlist the young K. Adept. Few months later, Azmeroth decides not to continue the unstoppable run of the band.

2007: With a renewed line up, (P.B.Midgard/guitars & backing vocals, Rasez/drums, Orias/voice, K. Adept/bass) the band begin to prepare the new material and continue with their devastating live activity.

2008/2009: The band suspends live activity to devote to the layout of the new songs. The singer Orias leaves the band that decides to continue as trio; the role of the singer is taken by P.B.Midgard and Rasez.

2010: "Catharsis / Raebellion" it's finally out (always for Taf production); 6 new tracks in pure Aposthate- style.
