Biography

Natan formed in january 2002 and started playing concerts in Belgium and Holland shortly after that. Also in 2002 a 8 track demo CD 'Akeldama' was recorded, and received good critics. In 2004 and 2005 the status of the band got boosted by their memorable gigs in Germany, Switzerland and Holland, and with the release of the 'Nevel' EP.

The songs from the Nevel CD also got released on a split CD on the Mexican label Atolinga Records.

Dispite the band being slowed down contantly due to line-up changes and some members' absence because of professional reasons the band managed to keep on going.

In 2007 Natan toured Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France on a first 10 days European tour.

After that, they began to write songs for the debut album, which they recorded early 2008, right before their first mini tour in Spain. Natan got signed by Iron Age Records from London for the debut album 'Het Zicht Van De Dood', released in september 2008. The debut album was very well appreciated by the international metal press. Natan was promoted very well in the European magazines with adds, songs on magazine samplers and interviews. After the release of 'Het Zicht Van De Dood', Natan played in England and Scotland for the very first time in october 2008.

In 2009 Natan didn't sit still and intensively played concerts in England, Germany, Holland, France and Belgium, and their first show in Czech Republic.

In 2010 Natan toured Ireland and Northern Ireland for the first time. Natan started to prepare for the recordings of the second full-length album.
The new album 'Às' was recorded in the summer and autumn of 2010.
After the recordings, in the following years, Natan played shows around Belgium, Germany & Holland.

Às was released on CD by the band in 2013, after failing to find a record label to sign a deal with.

In 2015, they recorded one song, called "The End". In april 2015, Natan also played an exclusive acoustic concert with guest musicians. After that, they decided to stop as a band. A final concert was played in october 2015.

The unreleased final song "The End", recorded in 2015, was finally released in october 2020, 5 years after the band had quit. The song was released in a video on YouTube, and on drummer Ezra's SoundCloud page. In 2021, it will also appear on a Face Your Underground compilation CD, with a lot of other Belgian underground Metal songs.
