Biography

Akphaezya is originally the idea, the project of one man : Stephan H. In 2002, Nehl Aëlin, Loic Moussaoui and Stephane Beguier accepted his invitation to join him and make this concept become a real band.

In 2004, the band released its first demo: "Anthology II" (demo version), which was well received by critics in France (18/20 " Metal-immortel ", 5/5 " Metalfly ", 84/100 " obskure.com ", 9/10 " les acteurs de l'ombre "?), Canada (18/20 " l'édition Metallique "), Belgium (" Lefantastique.net " and " chimaera "), and Marocco (9/10 Marcoc magazine).

From 2004 to 2006, the band gives several gigs in France and Belgium. During 2006, the band decided to record a new and different version of "Anthology II" in a professional studio. In August 2007, Sylvain Biguet (Trepalium, Klone, etc?) re-records electric guitars and some drums (secret and reflections). The same year, Ascendance Records, the label set up by Lee Barrett (founder of Candlelight Records) and Sam Grant (Sonic Cathedral) signs Akphaezya for 3 albums with an international promotion and distribution.

In the begining of 2008, Brett Caldas Lima mixes the album "Anthology II" in Tower Studio, and that following June, the band's debut album is released.
