Biography
Abominable Putridity is a brutal death metal/slam death metal band from Moscow, Russia.
The band was founded in 2003 by Alexander (drums) and Pavel (guitar). Material had been written for a full-length album as early as 2004, but the band had some serious line-up troubles and even considered disbanding as a result. Eventually the problems were fixed and with the new line-up completed in 2006, the band recorded their material. Abominable Putridity signed with Lacerated Enemy Records and released their full-length debut, In The End Of Human Existence, in December 2007.
Abominable Putridity have since signed a multi-album deal with Brutal Bands, beginning with the re-release of their debut album that includes new cover art and an altered layout. Former vocalist Vladimir was recently replaced by Cameron "Big Chocolate" Argon (Misericordiam, Malodorous, Burning The Masses).
Abominable Putridity discussed the opportunity of releasing another full-length album in 2009, but were unfortunately able to do so. However, they are currently in the studio and still plan on releasing new material as soon as possible.
