Biography
Drawn together by the same desire to make music, five men united to create When Icarus Falls in 2007. Through the daring alchemy of their music, they created a unique atmosphere oscillating between oceans of ravaging riffs, and bewitching melodies on the piano. When Icarus Falls opens a way between rage and despair, melancholy and brutality.
The group's first EP called 'Over the Frozen Seas' materialises the search for a unique, profound and warm sound. It was recorded and mixed by Julien Fehlmann at the Studio Mécanique, and mastered by Gabriel Wallach in Hollywood (Lurssen mastering) and will be released in hard copy the 4th of september (Switzerland and France) and the 7th of september 2009 (UK) with Get A Life!records.
