Biography

Born on June 13, 1979 in Clermont-Ferrand, France, Julien Damotte began playing guitar in 1991. He's taken lessons with Gérard Fayet, Marcel Coenen, Mattias IA Eklundh and Bumblefoot at the Freak Guitar Camp (2003-2004) in addition to taking several private lessons with Stephan Forté (Adagio). Damotte has performed with several bands, including Devilspoon, Exprim, Ze Froggiez, with a wide range of playing styles (metal, hard rock, blues, rock, etc.). Damotte is also the guitarist for MadOnAGun, whose first EP was released in 2009.

"Deep Inside", Damotte's first solo album, was released in 2003. The album is completely instrumental, with Damotte producing it independently. Since 2004, Damotte has been working on a true progressive metal masterpiece, this time making use of vocals. The album was officially released on March 9, 2010 and has gained plenty of positive feedback. Damotte is still pursuing a contract with a record label.
