Biography

Spewing forth from the guttural wastelands of Hartlepool in the north east of England, Dawn of Chaos offer old school death metal but with their own modern groove drenched technicality. Formed in June 2004 based on earlier foundation of an earlier version of guitarist Ken Turners previous band. Ken Turner recruited some of Hartlepool's most talented redneck drunken bastards to form a sick act which would make young children cry.

Comprising of the demonic blasting of Ben Aldred on drums, the guttural growls and satanic screams of Paul Hartburn on vocals, the 7-string sodomising riffs of Ken Turner on guitar, the brutal groove of Dan Jones on Bass and the most recent addition, the lightning shred of Dan Rochester !!!

The end of 2007 saw Dawn of Chaos go to Base HQ studio's and record there debut EP "From Dusk till Dawn of Chaos" with acclaimed producer Rich McCoull.

In 2009 came the first label release, as Dawn of Chaos joined up with Liverpool's 'Neuroma' to release a split through 'Grindethic Records' entitled 'Northern Discomfort'. In the time since it's release, Ben Aldred departed to be replaced by Ian Finley (Wodensthron/ That Hideous Strength) and Ross Oliver (Risen Prophecy) replacing Ken Turner.
