Biography
Observant was founded in late 2008 in Pietarsaari, Finland by Mikael Ekstedt-Kenna Nygård-Staffan Holmnäs(Chthonian) after a late night in the bar. Jonas Frilund(Chthonian) and Mathias Lillmåns(Finntroll, Chthonian) joined the band later on in 2009 and the lineup was complete. All the members have played together in Pietarsaari before in various bands like Degenerate, Devious Imp, Genital Grinder, Twilight Moon etc...
The band recorded a 4-song promo EP 'Corrodead' themselves in winter 2010. The promo EP was recorded @Studio KPB by the band, mixed and mastered by Sami "Hannu" Koivisto @Biotech Audio Solutions and Nordic Audio Labs.
