Biography

The story of Baht has begun in 2007 with the idea of creating a sound progressive and oriental at the same time not stereotypical.

In 2008, the band recorded a five-song EP album called Bilinçten Derine with all songs in Turkish. This album was unique by being in Turkish and received good comments from the listeners from Turkey and from all around the world as well.

In 2009, it was a necessity for the band to show up with a new record to take the band to the next level. Hence, Baht has recorded their two-song second record Resurgence Hour, with Joona Räsänen from Finland on drums.

In 2012, after being on the stage of many festivals and organizations for several years, the band needed something solid to expand their borders and be more unique about what they are good at. With the collection of their best materials, Baht recorded their first full-length album which is called In My Veins. This album has been created with the combination of oriental, progressive and death metal themes. In My Veins is mixed & mastered by legendary metal artist Dan Swanö.
