Biography

Dimension F3H is musical explorations from the mind of Morfeus (Limbonic Art). He puzzled with the ideas for a solo project for what seemed like ages. At first it was a non-metal project only, but as time passed the metal roots pressed on, and there was no help for it, it had to be metal of some sort.

Songs started to be developed, and after a while Nesmoht (Arch Nemesis) was headhunted for his vocal abilities, and in Christmastime 2000, the two recorded a small demo, to have something to present to the world and its labels. The disc reached Hammerheart Records who instantly saw the potential in the project, and Dimension F3H inked a deal with them in May 2001. After this, Dimension F3H were searching a bit for a suitable drummer, and after a while Stian "Thunderforce" Kristoffersen (Pagan's Mind, Trivial Act) agreed to join in the crew, and everything was set to start recording the debut Reaping The World Winds.

Since Reaping The World Winds Dimension F3H has undergone some changes in the line-up. Several drummers have come and gone, but finally after enlisting our longtime friend Arghamon (Lucid Fear, Trail Of Tears) into our ranks, and finally the drum situation was conquered. Mr. Moe (Cutthroat, Trail Of Tears) has taken over the duties on bass, and Morfeus is now doing the vocals in addition to his other instruments. This, of course, has affected the sound of the band in certain ways, the sound has become darker and more sinister.

Does The Pain Excite You? was released in summer 2007, getting massive reviews worldwide. "Melting classic thrash elements with a dash of black, this record takes you on an emotional rollercoaster you won't soon forget. Depressive, Pessimistic, and Daring. Dimension F3H take heavy music to a place that few dare to take it" (Brutalism.com). The band followed up with several concerts supporting the album, ending with supporting the legendary Mayhem on the first leg of their European tour promoting Ordo Ad Chao.

Since then Dimension F3H has been writing new material for the upcoming third album. Most of the work is done in the creative process, but there's still a little way to go.
