Biography
The idea of making a band appeared long ago, but exact terms of creating "Dialectic Soul" as a fully complete, united group are rather vague. It was connected with the search for constant seriously-minded musicians, who don't lack creative ideas. That is why only by 2000-2002 there began to frame out the final (for that moment) cast:
- Slava Znakharenko - the guitar, texts (an accordion player having two-years' experience)
- Alexander Kluchnikhov (an ex-bass of Russian groups "ЦК" and "Gravii" who came to Belarus from Murmansk region in 2000) - the guitar, bass, drum programming.
- Alexander Kravchenko - vocalist
- Gala Kulitskay (the only member of the group having classical music education) - keyboard
At that time the group produced the first album under the same name "Dialectic Soul". The material was various, underdone in some places still full of fresh interesting ideas. The time spent on the recording (6 months) gave the possibility to work out the material, but to our great disappointment it was spoilt, because of bad work of the sound director. That's why the recording didn't have a proper impression, and when we applied to some foreign sound recording studios, the reply was: "Guys! Make rerecording in a more qualitative way and then we'll talk to you!"
In spite of this fact there was a proposition to be recorded on Russian "Metalizm Records". It was this fact which encouraged Slava to making our own Strong Music productions, which became the basis for the complete version of the first groups' album.
In course, the beginning wasn't the worst one, but like any other group we started thinking: Is it worth making further efforts? It caused frictions and disagreements as a result the work came to its dead stop for about a year. But we didn't wish to leave everything and to stay apart! On the contrary we learnt "the lesson of life": The situation being at that time became not a catastrophe for us but a kind of barrier which we took over successfully for our further growth and development in the creative way.
The new album made in 2004 was almost ready, there were plans for the concerts, the song "Simon the Musician" recorded for the Whole Belarusian/ Project "Metallection III" had been luckily selected. It was at that moment when the vocalist left the group (which was, by the way not very nice of him?).
We were left at the crossroads again, "What shall we do?". But even in this situation we were not desperate: We decided to try and change the male singing onto the female one.
A new singer was invited, it was Tatyana by name whose voice sounded already in the Belarusian Song.
But the longwide searchings for a constant vocalist were not finished after that, an interesting and mysterious fact for the audience is that at each concert (no less than two a month). We had different vocalists? Anatoly ("Homoferus" - Rechitsa) and others?
As a result we became bored with such experiments? We were anxious for some stability. So by 2005 our present cast (trio) has finally been formed: Slava'Z -guitar, lyrics; Sasha'Di - the guitar, bass, singing, drum-programming; Gala - keys.
Over the period from 2005-2007 the group worked hard at the recording of the material of 2004. It was recorded and worked out in different studios, so it took away too much time from a thorough study of a material. At president we have recorded a new album under the title "Terpsichore", appeared in the winter of 2007.
The third album "Painsoul" appeared in August 21, 2009. Music lovers of Dialectic Soul were pleased with surprise, specially prepared by the participants for this recording - video clip to the song "Master". The material of the album turned out to be more diversified and intense than in previous works. Noticeably is the influence of melodic death metal, jazz and progressive. On this release, the group made an experiment with female vocals.
The work at the fourth album is temporarily suspended because of the recording of the project Сымон-Музыка.
The out put of the new album with the working title 'We Are Born From The Pain' is scheduled for autumn 2011.
