Eschatos is a newly formed post/atmospheric/black metal band from Latvia, formed at the end of 2012 by Kristiāna Kārklina (vocals), Jānis Bu?s (guitars), Edgars Gultnieks (guitars) and Edvards Percevs (drums). The band recorded a video for their first track, "One That Divides the Time", and released it via YouTube in early January 2013.

The group hired session musicians Tomass Beķeris (bass) and Jānis Kaneps (keyboards) to record their debut full length album, titled Hierophanies, which was self-released on January 25, 2013.
