:: 2009 - Foundation ::
Progenie Terrestre Pura, more easily q[T]p, was officially born the first December of 2009 by the mental collision between Eon and Nex[1]. This project was founded with the specific purpose to be a studio project and to remain principally a duo. The common ideas and objectives, immediately, allowed a rapid development to his final form and, as a result, the start of the composition of our first track (the same Progenie Terrestre Pura).
It's interesting that we felt immediately our minds attuned in a particular project like this and it was for sure a stroke of luck.
:: 2010 - First Track ::
In the first months of 2010, the track "Progenie Terrestre Pura", was already a reality; it was a first raw demo, recorded by inexperienced hands, full of technical errors but so true and, in fact, the same track re-recorded after for U.M.A. This track, son of our primary vision of this project, is maybe the track that will remain the purest of all our songs that will ever be composed. It is a fusion of the black metal style of Wolves In The Throne Room and Darkspace, collided with psychedelic ambient (psybient); just this.
Our curiosity to release it out to the world was very huge, so we loaded it into our MySpace (when it existed). Unfortunately (or fortunately), not much people could listen it to remember.
We passed the rest of the year composing another track, "Sinapsi Divelte", and uploading our small home studio and our knowledge about home recording. With "Sinapsi Divelte" became clear that this creature would evolve from the primary conception more than we expected (probably it was predictable, but with the wisdom of hindsight it's easy to talk).
Anyway, at the end of the year we started to record Promo 2011 (and we finished it the first month of 2011), with a better knowledge of our potential and a great desire to show q[T]p to the world.
:: 2011 - Promo 2011 ::
Promo 2011 was officially out the 15th of April 2011. Free download for all, 50 cds for labels and 'zines. With the except of the master by an external studio (WLF Mastering) for a better sound in general, the rest of the production was made by ourselves. Less than a low budget production, of course.
Anyway, Promo 2011 put a first bud on the minds of people, even if no label seemed to be really interested in our work.
Again full of hope (even if with a bit of delusion) this year passed in a slow creative composition, alternated between "up and down" moments but with a growing implementation of elements and capacity.
:: 2012/2013 - U.M.A. ::
The first part of 2012 finished with the process of the songwriting of our debut album, U.M.A., recorded in the second part of the year and officially completed with the mixing and mastering (by 322Studios) between December 2012 and January 2013.
Before it was finished, in autumn 2012 Avantgarde Music (thanks to Promo 2011) finally manifested its interest in our debut album (destination reached/mission complete), and with a great partnership like Avantgarde Music, U.M.A. was out the 15th of April 2013 (in digital format) and in spring/summer 2013 (in cd format).
Progenie Terrestre Pura is now a reality that begins to have consensus and appreciation all over the world, and is now assembling the second album?
