02. Shadows of Our Time

I live, in a world pervaded with envy
No honour, no courage
The table is turned, the weak overpower the strong
The valor of men
Is now mesaured by wealth

Shame...

If i close my eyes I can dream of a land
Where the life got a sense
Maybe harder but worth to be lived
Where the heart of a warrior can feel at home

Fresh breeze caressing my soul
Feeling alive for the kiss of the sun
Revel the fury of a fight, the challenge of hunt, the glory of war

The chains of society repress every instinct and inner strenght

Rage...

I'm tired to feel out of place
Surrounded by cowards and worms
Exiled, insulted
This world is rotting in the muck of civility weakness and ease
It's a world with no heroes a world with no kings

Nothing around me makes sense
Everything seems so wrong

If I close my eyes I can dream of a land
Where the life got a sense
Maybe harder but worth to be lived
Where the heart of a warrior can feel at home

I won't surrender to thoose wrong rules

I still believe in my values
I follow the old path

Fresh breeze caressing my soul
Feeling alive for the kiss of the sun
Revel the fury of a fight, the challenge of hunt, the glory of war

In this empty world there is no glory in victory
Walkyries don't come down again
Weapons of today despise every ability
Every scoundrel can call himself brave

I won't surrender to thoose wrong rules

My heart is the last shadow of an ancient world
Tied to the ruins of what i feel mine.

Scorn

03. Tears of Stone

The old Wind was roaming the world
Together with all his sons
His daughter get lost in a valley
Storming and raining around

When tired of her games she entered
A cave to rest from the joy
She found a man so handsome and strong
So different from all that she knew

Suddenly they fell in love
Blustering passion
A week together they passed
Until the wind
Angry searching for her
Found the cave with his

Daughter in his arms
And his anger burst in hate
Blind fury ended every dream
With violence

Her tears like crystals in the night
Is it worth living after your reason dies
Al her hopes died in that moment of pain
Her teared heart resting on his dead corpse

She refused to go with her father
Her silent tears turned to stones
Queen of that valley of sorrow
Blowing her pain till today

Listen betwen the hurdles in the roar of the waves, the wailing of a love, turned to dust.

Her tears like crystals in the night
Is it worth living after your reason dies
Al her hopes died in that moment of pain
Her teared heart resting on his dead corpse

04. The Rocks of Verden

Sleep Well little children and dream of sweets and toys
The night is passing quitly and safe in your bed
Unless the daughters of the night
Put their hungry eyes on your precious and juicy soul
In their forest hideout they dance
under the moon light their rituals of evil

With your eyes will make necklace
To decorate theyr necks
And with your skin they'll cover books of
Ancient evil spells

Shiver and run
Here comes the witches
No place to hide
In the reign of the night

Splendid terrible creatures
Lovers of the demons
Sacrifice is the essence of their malecious spells
Enslaved by lust
Damned for eternity
Princess of the night
Rulers of the whispers in the dark

Forever cursed
Tearing away
The childrens from their bed

Forever feared
Keep the fire up
To belive that you are safe

Because even when you'll grow up all this dread will never pass
Every whisper in the dark will scream
In the shadows of your dreams the witches lurk inside
The childish terror that will never end

Beware of the voices in the branches of the trees
In the darkest hour of the night
You'll hear them singing
If you'll be enticed and charmed by their chant
The void will embrace you and forever the nightmare will last.

Forever cursed
Tearing away
The childrens from their bed

Shiver and run
Here comes the witches
No place to hide
In the reign of the night

Sleep

Childrens we wish you good night
Hope that it wont be the last

06. Howl

I am the leader the guide of the pack
Mine is the duty and the load
Example for everyone Judge and Enforcer
Protector of my lineage

My Claws
Sharped on the rocks
My Fangs
Relentless Fury

From the highest rock
The pack under control
Silently I peer the woods
I remember the day when i took the command
from the blood of my weakened father

Moon that howl to in the night
Give me the strenght to mantain my pride

Enlight my path, guide my decisions
So that i will rule in justice
Each of my errors will fall on my pack
I can't afford to fail

My Claws
Sharped on the rocks
My Fangs
Relentless Fury

HOWL

My Claws
Sharped on the rocks
My Fangs
Relentless Fury

The forest my reign
whisper my name
Everything fears the wolves
Our hunting ground
generous mother
The balance that we belong to

Moon that howl to in the night
Give me the strenght to mantain my pride

HOWL

I am the leader the guide of the pack
mine is the duty and the load
The sun is rising begin of the day
Moon i bid you goodbye

My wolves
hear my command
A new day
has just begone

07. Wooden Memories

This is my last day
The end of a long life
I saw so many things
All worth to be told

I went from an empire
To the born of the machines
From bronze and iron
To plastic society

I lived the apex and the decline of the human race
I saw the war and the pretence of the peace

The man is changed and he's set forth to his sunset
Before I leave I'll tell you what I saw.

Leaves, falls on my winter
Memories printed on the wood

When the earth will take my corpse
To bring me to new life
All the warmth of my death
Won't have so much to heat

Centuries of war and kings
Will be dishonoured
From the shameful end of their
Weakest heir

Legions were marching
Centurions on the head
I felt the power and the discipline of Rome

I lived the invasions of
Barbarians from the north
Burning destruction
The mighty of the horde

Leaves, falls on my winter
Memories printed on the wood

When the earth will take my corpse
To bring me to new life
All the warmth of my death
Won't have so much to heat

Centuries of war and kings
Will be dishonoured
From the shameful end of their
Weakest heir

Then came the church
Enslaving the free minds
It was a Dark Age
Contested by the lords

They found the light
Asleep under their minds
Their revolutions
From justice to a crime

And when the ambition overtook the last respect
The insane ants from the womb of steam engines
Soon they infected all the planet like a pestilence
Conviced they are the only rulers of this world

The beauty of the nature usurped by a consumerism god
I leave this world.
