06:13 - Fearmeister Yea, I never even finished that album and I was a massive Agalloch fanboi
05:45 - Apothecary Marrow Of The Spirit is definitely underrated, not sure why people say Agalloch went downhill with that album. I definitely don't think they ended on a strong note with Serpent & The Sphere though
23:59 - Netzach Czerny, I get your point but I'd say the same about "Ashes"... It just gets too droney and gaze-ish in sections. Limbs and Not Unlike the Waves are awesome though... The Mantle has this "whiskey fueled regret"-feel I adore
23:55 - Netzach Btw, AMA on Reddit with A.A Nemtheanga if anyone's interested [link]
This band's profile is 'invisible', meaning that it's much less prominent on the site - either because it's incomplete, or maybe doesn't entirely fit MS format.
Guitarist Todd Haug is the head brewer at Surly Brewing Company.
The opening sequence of the track Slaughterhouse was used as the jingle to "MTV At The Movies" in the late 1980s.
Powermad appeared in the David Lynch film Wild at Heart, performing an instrumental part of Slaughterhouse in the rock concert scene where Sailor (Nicholas Cage), his girlfriend Lula (Laura Dern) and some other guests move in hilarious ways to the music. The same part of the song is played on radio during their road trip and this time they just make kick and hit moves. It was also used for the trailer.
