Prior to forming Soulfly, Max Cavalera guested on the Deftones breakthrough album "Around The Fur" in 1997 on a song called "Headup". This song is about Dana Wells' death (his stepson), and it is said that Cavalera got the name for the band from the lyrics of this song. |
