Some sort of bullshit reason if you ask me. here check the new on the 013 site http://www.013web.nl/

Btw I heard that Funeralium heard about them not playing via a forum and not even from the organizers

So I paid the full price (35 + service costs), and now they reduce it? I don't see anything about refunds.

EDIT: Wait, nevermind. I get 10 euros back at the door. Now that sucks about Funeralium. :/

When did you buy the ticket?
Lucas - 11.07.2008 at 16:09
Last night I had a friend of me order it, through ticket service. That still charged the original 35 euros (exc.) price. In total it was 40.93, I believe. But the news item states that if I show I payed 35 for it, they will give me 10 euros back right away.

It is getting worse by the minute. Warning has been replaced by Switchblade.
But that could bode well for Dutch Doom Days though...

FUCK!!!! I seriously hope that they're coming to DDD then. I'm not gonna pay 25 euros for bloody My Dying Bride... I've already seen Primordial, so only Krux would be worth going (when you take the extra costs for travelling into consideration..)

Dammit.
Marcel Hubregtse - 16.07.2008 at 12:40
The apparent reason why Warning has been withdrawn from the line-up.
Okay sit back and laugh your heads off at these schoolyard politics:

From: manuel@comaworx.com

Pat,
013 has decided not to let Warning play due to protests of Aaron of MDB. seems that you have sent him deaththreats in the past and attacked him as well...sorry man!

In light of WARNING being dropped from the Dutch "Ashes to Ashes" festival, we have this to say. My Dying Bride are a bunch of cowardly underhand spoilt brats, it only proves that they are truely scared that their time in the spotlight is now over, and will do anything to prolong the agony they inflict on the hundreds of listeners worldwide with their pathetic and feeble excuses for "music".

The truth is, that it was Pat's cousin, Rich Walker who attacked Aaron "Pubehead" Stainthorpe, and threatened oily guitarist Hamish Doublecross. They are clearly shaken by WARNING's popularity, and cannot bear the thought of having the piss blown out of them live by a so called "lesser" band.

We raise our hats to the buffoons in MDB, and thank them, and the so called promoters of the "Asses to asses" festival for showing their true colours yet again. Well done, you are simply not worth pissing on if you were on fire. Fucking cocksuckers the lot of you.....

Here is the link to the blog as posted by The Miskatonic Foundation (Warning's label whihc is run by Pat Walker's cousin Rich)

That's a double "fuck you" to My Dying Bride then. One for playing on the festival, and another one for keeping Warning from us. Provided that this is the truth.

And to the promoters of Ashes To Ashes.. come on, show a little backbone guys! I can imagine My Dying Bride is your main act, but don't let them run over you just like that.

Well, I do think it is true because Hamish of MDB used to play in Solstice with Rich and Hamish stole money and equipment from the band apparently. So that would be the reason for Rich threatening Hamish. But of course it is stupid of MDB to not want to play with Warning because Rich is NOT part of Warning, he is only Pat's cousin and the band's label owner.
And I think MDB is afraid to be blown off the stage by Warning as well. Don't get me wrong, I really like MDB but Warning is just so much more emotional and better.

shame about the My Dying Bride and Warning feud.
Still it's going to be great, except for Primordial.

What's your problem with Primordial, they're a brilliant live band (and also on album) and will surely blow most of the bands off the stage except maybe for Krux.
There is so much true emotion in Primordial's music and vocals it is almost scary.

Well I never understood the hype around Primordial. I am a buff for old cultures, history, paganism but find there music absolute crap.
I just can't stand those vocals and I don't feel any kind of emotion in their music.
Marcel Hubregtse - 04.09.2008 at 11:23
SHITE, Primordial cancelled due to illness.
They are replaced by Bunkur & Kongh

Well, the ONLY reason I am going now is Krux, so no need to sneak out
