Is it too early to talk about Hellfest 2009?
NO WAY. First the festival is confirmed (no more problems with the direction of the city) for the 19/20/21 of June 2008 (not at the same time than the Graspop one more time... perfect!) AND I will be able to let you know who are the first confirmed bands the 27 of November 2008.
Actually I will even organize a Hellfest party this day in my city (Toulouse). So be ready for one more year of HellFest on Metal Storm  |

Auwtsh, kind of in the middle of my exam period. Won't be able to make it again this edition, I'm afraid.
Ah well, I still consider myself a lucky guy for having had the chance to go to Hellfest 2008. The whole thing was a blast. One for the memory books. |

| Great to know the dates. So I will take the week off around Hellfest so I can go again. 2007 was a blast and unfortunately had to miss the 2008 edition due to a freelance translation assignment. But health willing I will be present in 2009. |

Is it actually "Hellfest Summer Open Air" like it was in 2007? Because in 2008 they just changed everything to "Hellfest Open Air" in the logos instead.
Anyway. I am pretty much guaranteed to be there for the third year running. |

I heard some rumours about some names and if it's true, I can tell you that it WILL BE BIG 
Be sure that you'll get the 30 first names the night of the 27/11/08 (at the same hour than the different Hellfest Parties all around France). |

| 2008 edition was great! without a doubt the best lineup in any festival, that's why we choose this festival instead of wacken. If I was not so far away (México) I would go to the 2009 edition. Plus, french people are very cool! |

Oh yes they did, though the last time they refused to come due to some law that made them unable to play as loud as they wanted (IMO, that was also a good opportunity to make a little drama). So they invited their French fans to come over and see them in Germany where they would be given free shirts to compensate.
I'm actually glad they'll be at HF, because otherwise I wouldn't have wanted to see them on a regular tour.

They might be the world's largest but I never heard of them before today.
But if they were spot on last year then why shouldn't they be spiot on now. Yes, Decide will fit Hellfest's programming though personally I am not too happy about them being included. I have seen them a shitload of times (ever since their debut till their latest album) and about 90% of the time they disappointed me as hell. |
