Really creative festival idea...probably going to update the line-up list here tomorrow.
Also should make for an interesting review. |

Nice... Slough Feg
Worth checking out? I was contemplating whether or not to go to the first night of this festival (which is at a bar), and I'm really not too excited about seeing those local bands yet again... |

IMO Slough Feg is definitely worth checking out and for you maybe Novembers Doom as well. PLus it's at a bar which imo is always far superior to a gig in a bigger venue because of the intimacy of a bar. |

I guess it depends on the bar and the bands...I started really enjoying the shows at the Ballroom recently - all age venue. The problem I have with crowded bar shows is theres always some drunk asshole who decides to dump his beer in my hair instead of drinking it.
Either way, might as well go to this, seems its all anyones talking about in the local metal scene. Theres more buzz over this little fest than there is about the upcoming Obituary and Motorhead shows... |

It really owuld surprise me if the bar gig was to be crowded. Here in The Netherlands that gig wouldn't draw more than 150 people at most I would say. |

Well its not the biggest bar for a show, its almost always local bands playing there. That and just being part of the festival that show will get a solid turn out. Metal shows aren't too frequent here, especially festivals, so when a good show does get put together you can almost guarantee a decent turn out - unless its local bands, local metal has grown pretty fast here, so when you have local gigs any given day of the week people tend to lose interest in anything but the bigger shows... |

Hopefully I'll be able to make it to this, I'm too stoked for Cynic, Aura Noir and Destroyer 666.
Second stage acts are gonna be too good as well, the local support is going to rule. |
