I've decided it would be rude for me not to go. Doors open at 8pm so I can do normal hours at work that day and still have plenty of time to get to venue in plenty of time before doors open and plenty of time to get train back!

I get the feeling this might be another late finishing show... do trains run late around there?

Yeah I checked with the venue and they say the show should finish around 11:30pm-12am time and there's a train going back to Chesterfield at 12:35am. Also in my experience late night trains nearly always end up being delayed so that might allow for even more time should the show finish later than expected.
