22:06 - LeKiwi Yea, I was just being sardonic :P Amazon deliver in a very timely manner I've found...
22:05 - Jaeryd17 Usually they deliver it pretty fast, but they give you the mp3 files of the CD too, so you can listen to it right away (albeit in a more compressed format) while you wait for the physical disc to arrive.
21:31 - LeKiwi I reckon they give you the CD in audio-format to shut you up in case the CD takes it's time to arrive :P
21:15 - Lit. Don't even know what this auto-rip is that everyone's spewing about. I've yet to have an issue with buying CDs off Amazon.
19:59 - Ceddybu pretty much agree with J-swizzle about amazon, ain't had problems with them and theres some good deals
19:50 - Cynic Metalhead Ebay are retarded. i once ordered Razor and they delivered defect one. i though gotta new one but that annoyed me like anything,
19:44 - Redn1ght Just a little annoyance to me Jaeryd, nothing much else. :p
Seems Terrorizer magazine may have let slip the unannounced headliner, apparently at the end of their most recent interview with Machine Head it was stated that they are making a "special announcement" on the 6th July. Could just be coincidence but I would really not be surprised if it was correct, it fits most of the stuff BoA have been talking about with having their most prestigious headliner yet!
Damn, there have been rumours that it is Machine Head... and I really hoped it wouldn't be.
I've been hearing King Diamond or Slayer alot, I'm leaning more towards slayer with the announcement date. I'm not the biggest fan of Machine Head but they did put a hell of a show on when I saw them, rather have a band I like more though...
The crowd went bonkers, sure. But the band wasn't good live at all those two times. Just like Heaven & Hell was mediocre live in 2009 but the crowd still went apeshit. Same for Slayer and Fear Factory in 2010, crowd went bananas but the performances were mediocre to bad.
Anaal Nathrakh definitely owned the weekend. Even more so because Dave Hunt did the show (and Benediction's) hobbling on one leg after he broke the other. Behemoth were almost as good strangely enough seeing I'm not a big fan of their recent stuff (though quite liking some older material). Probably no coincidence both these shows were at when I was my most intoxicated. Enjoyed wall of deathing and pitting for Nathrakh a lot too, not something I usually do.
Mayhem were disappointing as I expected, very bad sound and a rather limp and short set. Always nice see Attila on stage though Nile I found somewhat so-so too. Orange Goblin, Witchsorrow, Sanctuary, Cambion, Sepultura were all very enjoyable and Dimmu and Machine Head were pretty ok too, along with a few others.
