The venue opened in 2007 with an Edguy concert. Since then there are also foreign concerts regularly beside the many Hungarian rock and metal concerts in this pub.
A private bus service goes to the club from the city center.

| I don't know the details, I suppose its doom was sealed by its insufficient advertising, hard-to-reach location and of course the financial crisis. It functioned for only 14 months. It's a pity, Avalon was a cozy place of a high standard but still with kinda reasonable prices. Well, well. |
