The music industry is ruthless. Crimson Shadows have been offered to get on tour across Europe with Alestorm this autumn, but they are experiencing some difficulties. After having bought a new van to tour USA this summer, they couldn't cross the boarder, and are now facing huge debts. That's why they have launched an Indiegogo campaign, to refund these debts and get the opportunity to tour Europe next month.
After confirming a string of tour dates for Europe, Scottish metallers Alestorm announced an additional set of dates. Dubbed as 'Piratefest', this tour, which encompasses countries in the United Kingdom and Ireland, will follow previously confirmed European dates. With the new album Sunset On The Golden Age to be released in August, Alestorm now confirm a new European trek. The band revealed the first dates of their headlining world tour to celebrate the release of the upcoming album. In September and October 2014, they are hitting the shores of mainland Europe, joined by the German power metal wizards Brainstorm, and the Australian folk metallers Troldhaugen.

UPDATE on 05.02.2014: After announcing that they had started recording their fourth album, the guys in Alestorm just revealed the title of what will be the successor of 2011's Back Through Time: the forthcoming album will be named Sunset On The Golden Age, and will be released in the early summer via Napalm Records.
With the upcoming release of their first DVDLive At The End Of The World, Alestorm recently took the opportunity to release a video for their new single "In The Navy", their cover of the Village People classic. As promised, Alestorm have announced more details about their first DVD Live At The End Of The World. It will be released on November 15th. The DVD was filmed back in January in Australia and New Zealand, and the double disc set (1 DVD and 1 Audio CD) contains the full pro-filmed super high quality live headlining show from Melbourne, plus plenty of bonus material.
