14:53 - !J.O.O.E.! Sci-fi + found footage? I'm in.
14:52 - Gawain just saw europa report, great movie :D
14:34 - Dima Hmm I guess all I can hope for is a blend of both. Well, I got 2 sleeps to go until its mine so i'ma go and halve that right now ^.^ Night
14:32 - !J.O.O.E.! Well I don't know for sure if it's all purely disconnected. Just going on what I've read. It's entirely possible some may link up with each other.
14:29 - Dima Meh they still could have had variety within a linked world. Doing it the way they have is just easier...Stressed on time I guess...Bosses better deliver.... I hope there are more liek Gwyn, ie pure aggression and Manus, ie combos
14:28 - !J.O.O.E.! But at least unlike the hub it won't feel like you're literally being transported to another place, as it's all done on foot from a village haven place, so it's kind of a compromise between Dark and Demon's Souls.
14:23 - !J.O.O.E.! I must admit the interconnectedness was one of my fave aspects, but I'd be willing to look past that if there's more nooks and crannies to explore, which apparently there is.

Amberian Dawn are happy to announce that they're starting the recordings of a new album this summer.
Amberian Dawn's frontman, keyboardist and guitarist Tuomas Seppälä, has composed all ten songs for this new album and vocalist Heidi Parviainen has already started working on the lyrics.
According to Tuomas: "There's going to be some changes in our working methods and the next album is going to sound different compared to our previous albums. We're going to use backing vocalists for example. Earlier we have had only guesting lead singers and no backing vocalists at all. There's some really fast songs on this album and also some 80's- style songs like Valkyries and Kokko from our previous albums. Technically there's great challenges for the band and all the skills possessed by the new line-up will be essential. We're going to break some new limits again and lift the level of our quality even higher than before. With some guesting vocalists or musicians on this album, just like on all our previous albums, this new album is going to be more solid than our latest album End Of Eden."
Finnish Symphonic metallers Amberian Dawn recently shot a video for the first single off their latest record, End Of Eden - incidentally released today. The song is called "Arctica", and the video - directed by M. Nieminen from Routafilmi - can be viewed below.
In other news, the band has suffered a major line-up disruption. Main composer Tuomas Seppälä explains as follows:
"There's no drama involved in this line-up change. It's all about time issues. I hope very much succes and happines for you Tommi Kuri (bass), Joonas Pykälä-Aho (drums) and Emil Pohjalainen (guitars) in the future. You can meet the new line-up of Amberian Dawn on our music video "Arctica". These new guys have been around already before - Heikki Saari (Norther, Naildown) used to be our original drummer in 2006 and he played drums on the songs "River Of Tuoni" and "Evil Inside Me" on our debut album, River Of Tuoni. Bassist Jukka Koskinen (Norther, Wintersun, Cain's Offering) has already played one gig with us last summer at Tavastia Club. We're ready with our new line-up on our next gig in Helsinki, November 26th in Dante's Highlight."
Finnish metallers Amberian Dawn will release their third album, End Of Eden, on October 20 via Spinefarm Records.
End Of Eden will feature a guest appearances by keyboardist Jens Johansson (Stratovarius, Yngwie Malmsteen), opera singer Markus Nieminen and vocalist Peter James Goodman. Songwriter Tuomas Seppälä commented: "The new CD will be heavier than its predecessors, with a bigger, more polymorphic sound."

Spinefarm Records has signed Finnish metal act Amberian Dawn. Their third album End Of Eden will be released on October 20th.
Led by songwriter Tuomas Seppälä, in 2008 the band released their debut album River Of Tuoni, which was followed up with The Clouds Of Northern Thunder in 2009. Amberian Dawn have done 2 European tours with Epica and a new tour is in the plans after the album's release.
The band is no stranger to radio play either - Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson praised the band's music after they had toured the UK and gave AD lots of air time on his show on BBC6 during the release of The Clouds Of Northern Thunder. Music of Amberian Dawn is bombastic and melodic, singer Heidi Parviainen has been gifted with a magnificent voice that makes Amberain Dawn stand out from the ever growing crowd of operatic metal. Heidi is also responsible for the lyrics which are based on Finnish mythology.
Trying to find a great band which has a unique style and approach to its music is a job for a very patient and observant man - or a pearl diver. In fact, it might be as hard as finding a pearl in the River Of Tuoni.
However, we at Twisted Talent have the great luck to have a few good pearl diggers around who came up one day with a Finnish band called Amberian Dawn. Mr. Jens Johansson himself, notorious keyboarder of Stratovarius and a real expert when it comes to good music gave us an important hint. Checking them out for the first time meant listening to their debut album River Of Tuoni... struck by the impressive virtuosity of guitar & keyboard player Tuomas Seppälä, the fragile & complex melodies and the clear, mellow voice of classical soprano singer Heidi Parviainen, it got more and more obvious to us, that we had found something very special!
Due to a Retina-Detachment, Henjo, Gamma Ray's guitarist, has undergone surgery. The shows, therefore, in Saarbrücken and Langen will not take place as planned. The show in Langen will be moved to the following Monday the 22 of March. Saarbrücken will be on Tuesday the 23 of March. The shows in Lichtenfels and Prague will happen as planned.
UPDATED (thanks to BudDa)
Gamma Ray drummer Daniel Zimmermann posted the following update on Henjo Richter's condition:
"Henjo's eye surgery went better than expected. Nevertheless, Henjo cannot play the shows in Lichtenfels, Prague, Langen and Saarbrücken. The band decided to engage guitar player Kasperi Heikkinen (Amberian Dawn, Iconofear, ex-Elenium) from Finland again to play the four shows mentioned above. Kasperi already replaced Henjo for a few shows in 2006."
