Blackmore's Night - New Album Due In June

Blackmore's Night have announced that they will be releasing their brand new album Dancer And The Moon, on June 11th in North America and June 14th in Europe via Frontiers Records, the band's 8th original studio album. Dancer And The Moon will be released in two editions, as a CD and a digipak deluxe edition with a bonus DVD that includes music videos of "Dancer And The Moon" and of "The Moon Is Shining (Somewhere Over The Sea)", plus an extensive interview with Ritchie Blackmore and Candice Night.

Blackmore's Night - Working On New Album

Blackmore's Night guitar legend Ritchie Blackmore (ex-Deep Purple, ex-Rainbow) has issued the following short update:

"April 2010 finds us diligently working in the studio and going into final mix stage on the new Blackmore's Night CD. Candice Night and I and our minstrel band are looking forward to performing some of our new songs and your favorites from past albums in September."

Blackmore's Night - US Tour Dates

Blackmore's Night will embark on the "Secret Voyage Autumn Nights 2009" US tour, set to take place in October/November.

The band adds: "To celebrate the fantasy of the Halloween season, and the Renaissance spirit of the music of Blackmore's Night - we welcome all fans to join the festivity of the concerts by wearing Garb, or any costume of the season. A 10 % discount will be given for any merchandise items to fans wearing Garb or costumes for the concerts. We look forward to many fun filled evenings!"

Blackmore's Night - New Album In June

Blackmore's Night will release their new album, entitled "Secret Voyage", in Germany on June 27 (in Europe on June 30 and in the USA on July 15) via SPV.

According to a SPV press release: "Secret Voyage" is another kaleidoscopic musical journey through time and space, incorporating and rearranging traditional melodies from all over Europe, blending the "old" and contemporary. The brilliant guitar styling´s of Ritchie Blackmore, the enchanting vocals and lyrics of singer/songwriter Candice Night and the saturation of authentic Renaissance instruments woven throughout the melodies, create a unique style of music they call Renaissance/Folk/Rock. "Secret Voyage" consists of twelve new tracks, recorded by Candice Night, Ritchie Blackmore and their Band Of Minstrels. This musical journey is inspired by nature and incorporates acoustic and electric guitars, strings, renaissance instruments and Candice Night's ethereal voice and mystical lyrics."

Blackmore's Night - To Release DVD In November

As announced on the band's website, Blackmore's Night will release "Paris Moon", a long-form concert DVD/CD shot September 20, 2006 at Paris, France's famed Olympia, on November 2 in Germany, November 5 in the rest of Europe and November 6 in the USA. An EPK (Electronic Press Kit) for the release can be viewed at this location.

The band released on September, 20th 2004 an album entitled "Beyond The Sunset - The Romantic Collection". The available track for listening is a new song from this album.
