Blood Red Throne have announced a change in their line-up. Yngve "Bolt" Christiansen, in the band since 2011, had recently been replaced by Martin Berger Enerstvedt, who is now out of the band. That was quick! Also, Yngve "Bolt" Christiansen is coming back to the band. Confused? The death metal band from Norway already had a new album called Union Of Flesh And Machine recorded with Martin Berger Enerstvedt's vocals ready for this November but they are only releasing it in 2016 as Bolt will record his vocals for the album.
In between a handful of festival appearances, Canadian deathmongers Cryptopsy will do a handful of club gigs throughout Europe and United Kingdom with fellow death metal tanks Blood Red Throne and Psycroptic.
After vocalist Osvald "Vald" Egeland and the bassist Erlend Caspersen left the band in 2011, Blood Red Throne face now yet another line-up change. It was announced that their drummer Emil Wiksten is also leaving in order to focus on his other band Aeon. Dødheimsgard's drummer Sekaran will step in as a session drummer for the Protzen and Dokkem Open Air gigs. The band's original drummer, Freddy Bolsø, will join them on their UK mini tour in July.
In anticipation of the release of their upcoming self-titled album, death metallers Blood Red Throne have debuted today their brand new video for the single "Primitive Killing Machine" and you can now hear the first track off the album. This will be the Norwegians 7th album.
Norwegian death metal masters Blood Red Throne have recently revealed a string of European tour dates. The tour will be divided into two parts - European tour in May/June (without UK dates) and UK tour in July. Blood Red Throne will be touring in support of their new self-titled upcoming album, which will be released on May 17th, 2013 via Sevared Records (other album details are available here). Norwegian death metallers Blood Red Throne have announced the replacements for the vocalist Osvald "Vald" Egeland and the bassist Erlend Caspersen. Yngve Bolt Christiansen (Goddamn) and Ole Bent Madsen (Horizon Ablaze) have now joined the band.
The band posted two updates on their MySpace page recently confirming the two new members: "We're happy to announce that the young and talented Ole Bent Madsen is the new permanent bass player in Blood Red Throne!"

Norwegian death metal quintet Blood Red Throne are putting the finishing touches on the mix of their next studio album. For that occasion, the band revealed three brand-new song titles on Facebook, called "Trapped, Terrified, Dead", "Proliferated Unto Hemophobia" and "Graveworld".

Norwegian death metal tyrants Blood Red Throne have finished recording their new album. The album, entitled "Souls Of Damnation", is the band's fifth studio album and will be released to coincide with the band's 10th anniversary. The limited edition first pressing of "Souls Of Damnation" will include two bonus tracks, plus a special bonus DVD featuring an exclusive new interview with the band, along with an in-depth studio diary, documenting the recording process of the album. "Souls Of Damnation" will be released by Earache Records on June 1st in Europe and June 30th in the USA. The full track listing for the album is as follows:

Guitarist Død comments: "We're currently workin' on our fifth studio album, and so far we got 9 killer tracks. Expect some heavy shit, some fast and brutal shit and for those of you missing solos on previous albums, a lot of cool leads! We're waiting for a green signal and then we'll enter Studio Deadline in Sweden, makin' our best album ever!"
Blood Red Throne's follow-up to 2007's "Come Death" is tentatively due to be released in May 2009 through Earache Records.

Norwegian Death Metal fivesome Blood Red Throne have announced new shows around Europe. They will start with a Scandinavian show, then head towards Turkey and surrounding areas for some gigs and some festival appearances.
