16:06 - Nikpe and what about Dark Tranquillity tour in november in USA? Did no one is waiting for concerts?
16:00 - Overrwatcher Seems like it depends on the European country. The more conservative (like Russia) the more it's frowned upon. Metal is unpopular in America outside of nu/alt/NWOAHM/Metallica but that's often a good stepping stone.
15:56 - VIG i know i live in america too, it sucks being a metalhead here too
15:55 - LuciferOfGayness Psykometal, to most of us cunt is a positive word. Everybody wants to be a cunt! So, I suggest you change cunt to idiot in the SD read first.
15:54 - Nikpe Overrwatcher,In America prohibit concerts due to the fact that religious fanatics against? I think no. Girls in the metal-all who are there against girls in metal.
15:52 - Overrwatcher Hell, I even play Sabaton and Nevermore and it's still all "screaming music". That's a new level of dedication to being closed minded.

The long-awaited new album from Sweden's death/thrash metallers Darkane and follow-up to Demonic Art is finally taking shape. The band has announced its title, which will be The Sinister Supremacy. Also, the group has set the release dates for the album: June 28th in Europe through Massacre Records, July 2nd in North America through Prosthetic Records and June 19th, 2013 in Japan through Trooper Entertainment.
Since the fall of last year, Darkane has been recording their follow-up to Demonic Art, which was released in 2008. They have been releasing studio updates and video diaries of the recording process on their Facebook account, and the mixing process is set to start the week after next. The final release date is yet to be determined at this point.
Darkane vocalist Jens Broman has decided to leave the band.
He is replaced by Lawrence Mackrory who sang on Darkane's 1999 debut album Rusted Angel and also did a guest appearance on "Chaos vs. Order" from Expanding Senses. Darkane would like to wish Jens the best of luck in the future.
Lawrence will make his new debut with Darkane in Strasbourg, France on September 20th when the European headlining tour will start, together with Destinity and Devastating Enemy.
Swedish metallers Darkane have issued the following update on their MySpace blog:
"Whats up! Sorry about the lack of updates. Darkane has had some time off during the summer while Peter Wildoer has been busy touring with Pestilence. We played the Roskilde festival in Denmark and the Brutal Assault festival in the Czech Republic this summer, and they both felt very successful. Next up is the underground Thrashfestival in Oslo, Norway October 10th. We are also working on a very cool tour pretty far away from where we live, but it will be official when its 100% confirmed.
During the summer Peter, Klas and I have come with ideas and riffs for the next album, and Jens has written some lyrics. We have now started to gather together and put our ideas into actual songs. We are very eager to start recording the next album, and I think we have come up with some very cool stuff so far. Til next time, stay metal!"
Swedish thrash metal band Darkane with their new fronter Jens Broman (ex-The Defaced) have signed with Massacre Records for Europe. The 5th album of the band "Demonic Art" will be unleashed October 24th and will be available as limited Digipak format with exclusive bonus material!
The tracklisting reads as follows:
01. Variations Of An Eyerush
02. Leaving Existence
03. Demonic Art
06. Impetious Constant Chaos
08. Soul Survivor
09. The Killing Of I
10. Wrong Grave
11. Still In Progress
12. Wrath Connection
According to the official website of the Swedish metallers, Darkane have now decided to name the album "Demonic Art" after one of the songs. The lyrics are based on the same theme as on "Organic Canvas" (from our previous album "Layers of Lies"), about an individual planning his next exhibition of flesh.
Here are a few more song titles:
Varitations Of An Eye Crush (Intro)
Still In Progress
The Killing Of I
"Right now Peter and Klas are mixing the new album. We are also rehearsing and preparing for our trip to Chicago and the Chicago Powerfest in a few weeks. You don´t wanna miss that if you live in the area! We are gonna play in direct support to Testament May 3rd. This will also be Jens debut on American soil!"
The following message was posted on Darkane's official website:
"Darkane would like to welcome Jens Broman as the new vocalist in Darkane.
Jens will take over the vocal duties after Andreas Sydow left the band in August, and Jens has recently been seen on the vocal spot in Constucdead and The Defaced (he will continue to sing in both bands). Jens grew up in Glumslöv south of Helsingborg (as a good friend of Björn Strid from Soilwork), but now lives in Stockholm. His live debut with Darkane will take place in three weeks at the Progpower Scandinavia festival in Copenhagen, Denmark (November 10th). Darkane has been rehearsing hard lately and are very excited to work together with Jens. He has a huge vocal diversity and we are pretty sure that fans of Darkane won´t be disapointed.
Darkane drummer Peter Wildoer has posted this message on his website: "This coming winter we will start recording Darkane's fifth record. We have about nine songs ready. We were hoping to enter the studio earlier but in typical Darkane bad luck, our studio got flooded and badly damaged. So now we're looking for a new location for the studio and as soon as we find that we need to rebuild the studio which takes a lot of time. Hopefully we will start recording around Christmas (fingers crossed). In some weeks, we'll start working on the mix of the upcoming Darkane DVD. I just hope the DVD will be released early next year".
Darkane´s upcoming DVD was shot in May 2006 in the band's hometown of Helsingborg, Sweden.
Darkane vocalist Andreas Sydow has decided to leave the band and issued his official statement on the Darkane website:
"The time has come, my friends for me to step down from my position as vocalist of the greatest band in the world!
I feel I've reached a stand still in the creative process with Darkane and together we came to the decision to let fresh blood into the band for the upcoming fifth album. Darkane is constantly evolving and I'm sure that this ignition will be great for the band.
We certainly part ways as very good friends and we're in fact still working together on finishing the long awaited DVD. Hopefully the Darkane "Layers of Live" DVD will be released this autumn and, in a way, sum up my 7 years with Darkane and be the perfect closure.
