01:46 - Fearmeister Agree, Blood Fire Death is the best of Bathory even if Under the Sign has a special place in my heart
01:39 - Apothecary Yup, much better than early Venom I think. Anyway, Blood Fire Death's always been my fav, perfect transition between the BM albums and the band's coming Viking era
01:36 - Lit. True, but even his debut was much more interesting.
01:33 - Apothecary You really can't call The Return and Under The SIgn "painfully average" though, because at the time they were released, BM was still in its infancy, so there wasn't much variation in sound among the bands
01:32 - Fearmeister Under the Sign was what got me into BM in the first place :|
01:31 - Lit. @Fear I'd still take that and even Requiem over the painfully average black metal that was The Return... and Under The Sign...
01:29 - LICH hey guys, black sabbath tomorrow. yiz

German metallers Deadlock posted the following statement on their myspace page:
"We're not happy to announce, that we parted ways with Tom after more than 7 common years. Due to some musical and personal differences we agreed with him that it's better to make a cut.
There's no shittalking whatsoever, no bad mood or angry feelings. We just decided that Deadlock should go on with a new bass player.
We thank Tom for all the amazing years, the great time, his friendship and all our happy experiences together!
All future shows will be played with session musicians until we find a new member for that part. More news on our search for the new DEADLOCK family member will be posted soon!"
