Prepare for more Teutonic Destruction! The thrashers are currently working on their new album entitled Under Attack. The band started the recording sessions after the summer festivals last year and have been recording segments in various studios between September 2015 and January 2016. So far, they have completed the drum recordings with Martin Buchwalter at Gernhart Studios in Germany, as well as completing some basic recordings, mixing and mastering with VO Pulver at Little Greek Studios in Switzerland.
Destruction's drummer Vaaver will not be able to complete the upcoming North American tour with Sepultura and Arsis due to the birth of his second child. Parenthood comes first. Standing in for Vaaver will be longtime Primal Fear/Annihilator drummer Randy Black that joins the Teutonic thrash metal unit for these shows.
German thrash metal veterans Destruction have recently announced their return to the road for a full European headlining tour this coming fall. Joining them on this tour will be two promising acts of the current thrash/speed metal scene: Finnish label mates Lost Society and Belgium newcomers Evil Invaders. German thrashers Tankard have recently premiered the music video for the track "R.I.B. (Rest In Beer)" and now you can watch the video here. The song is taken from the upcoming new album R.I.B., coming on June 20th, 2014 via Nuclear Blast Records. The clip was filmed in March 2014 under the direction of Jan Öhlenschläger in Frankfurt (Germany). Enjoy!

German thrash metal veterans Destruction have set Spiritual Genocide as the title of their 30th-anniversary album, to be released in November via Nuclear Blast Records. The band has recently finished recording drums for the new release and posted the following update: "The drum-recording for the upcoming Destruction album Spiritual Genocide is finished! Vaaver did an amazing job on the fastest Destruction album in history! The release date of this thrashbomb will be around November 2012!"
German thrashers Destruction have posted on the band's official Facebook page that they are currently working on the 30th anniversary album, tentatively due to be released before the end of the year.
The band stated: "Thanks for the amazing support last year thrashers! 2012 will be an interesting year: the band is working hard on the 30th anniversary album already - next shows in Latin America in April! Thrash Till Death!"
Destruction are forced to postpone their previously announced South American tour dates to August.
Destruction's manager, Jeff Keller, has issued the following statement regarding the forthcoming South American tour: "Due to circumstances beyond our control, Destruction is postponing this month's scheduled South American dates. Unfortunately there were multiple issues, most notably regarding travel logistics, that have forced us to reschedule these dates. All six of the previously scheduled dates will now be moved to the month of August. Our apologies to our South American fans who had planned to attend the shows this month. The band is looking forward to August, and we are very pleased that all six shows were able to be successfully moved."
