The Reitermania never stops! Die Apokalyptischen Reiter will be releasing their new album Moral And Wahnsinn on the 25th of February 2011 via Nuclear Blast Records. Album trailer available below.
Commented the band: "We are leaving the studio with the feeling of having created something unique that will last forever. This album unites all our musical sides and strengths with lyrical brillance focusing on the highs and lows of human insanity and also the morality in each one of us. Insanity is imagination, morality a barren womb."

German metallers Die Apokalyptischen Reiter have just announced the departure of their latest guitarist Lady Cat-Man (who was playing on the band's latest album, entitled "Licht").
According to the band: "She will be replaced by Ady picture] who will hit the stage with the band soon: for example on this year's Paganfest where Die Apokalyptischen Reiter will light autumnal fires as co-headliners! A new album is planned for 2010."
Die Apokalyptischen Reiter have posted two new tracks, entitled "Es Wird Schlimmer" and "Der Weg", from the upcoming album "Licht" on the group's MySpace page.
The band will release an exclusive EP "Der Weg", via iTunes on June 27. "Der Weg" will feature four songs, two of which will only be available on this EP. The new album "Licht" is scheduled for a August 29 release through Nuclear Blast Records.
German metallers Die Apokalyptischen Reiter have posted the first Link] in a series of video blog entries covering the recording sessions for the band's as-yet-untitled seventh studio album, due late summer via Nuclear Blast Records. The upcoming CD will be the group's first to feature new guitar player Lady Cat-Man, who replaced Pitrone in February 2008 (More information was previously reported here). Die Apokalyptischen Reiter is also keeping a written studio diary at this location.
Also the band previously stated about the upcoming CD and new lineup:
"Don't expect anything less than an absolute killer record! The sound is damn heavy, melodic and chock-full of surprises. Lady Cat-Man may look like an angel, but she's playing like the devil! Treat our metal sister real nice, she is part of the family now."
Die Apokalyptischen Reiter will be supported by Lady Cat-Man on guitar from now on. She will replace guitarist Pitrone, who the band split up with.
A statement of the band on http://www.reitermania.de reads as follows: "Hello Maniacs. There was a line up change. Pitrone is no longer part of the band. His job as guitarist will be taken over by Lady Cat-Man this instant. We hesitated for a long time to take this step, but there were many reasons to let Pitrone go and look for a replacement.
Not many of you know that Pitrone himself wanted to leave in May 2006. That hit us like a ten ton hammer back then since "Riders On The Storm" was about to be released and the Riders-tour in autumn was threatened. After a week of looking desperately for a replacement we got a surprise call from Pitrone, saying that he wanted to continue after all. So hold your horses? Since the schedule was so tight we hardly had the time to think it over. Still, the bitter aftertaste lingered. Not on tour, not during backstage parties, but being home alone with all the sudden silence there was the feeling that something wasn't working, somehow everything felt tainted.
