21:18 - !J.O.O.E.! Solstafir and Svartidaudi are good live. Haven't seen Virus but I imagine they'll be pretty rad too.
21:03 - Apothecary Roadburn 2015 just upped its fucking ante! That Friday is gonna be killer [link]
20:02 - Redn1ght Or just manga. There are almost no limits there (Depending which publisher they are releasing with.)
20:00 - Clintagram That's one of the reasons I usually just prefer anime movies.
19:55 - Redn1ght Kinda dislike what they did back then with Deadman Wonderland adaptation. They couldn't show the reason why it was scary... No wonder horror anime isn't being made. xD
19:52 - Clintagram Yeah, Tokyo Ghoul is a little over the top. Aldnoah.Zero isn't as exciting as I had hoped. Akame ga kill! is a little too anime for me, I think. I watched a few others, but those two are the best I've found.
19:49 - Redn1ght Actually, I've only so far watched Zankyou no Terror latest season. Tokyo Ghoul could've been interesting if they didn't have censorship.. (Haha.) I've already read the SAO: Gungale Online arc so I'm not interested in watching it.
UK extreme metallers Dragged Into Sunlight have recently announced plans to embark on their first-ever headlining tour across Europe in April/May. The band has previously accumulated mileage across Europe on tours alongside Weedeater, Saviours and Black Cobra in addition to appearing at several notable festivals (SWR, Incubate, Roadburn). The full dates for the tour can be found listed below and you can also watch the tour trailer video here.
You can get excited now because Dragged Into Sunlight are working on new material. The hooded metallers from the UK are currently at Vagrant Recordings preparing a new sonic assault. However, the details about what is brewing are still under wraps but you can probably expect to know more soon. Could it be the follow-up to Widowmaker?
Dragged Into Sunlight have announced a series of tour dates across the United Kingdom & Ireland, scheduled for the end of this coming May. As special guests on the road will be UK's atmospheric sludge/post-metal band Bossk. Check out the complete list of tour dates and tour promo video below.
UK's Dragged Into Sunlight are currently writing new material. But that is not all. The band has also released their new collaboration with Gnaw Their Tongues. You can stream the track over here or on the player below. It seems like it won't be available for a long time, so enjoy it while you can.
A teaser, clocking in on four minutes, for UK extreme metal act Dragged Into Sunlight's upcoming album Widowmaker, due out November 5th in the UK, 6th in Germany and 9th in North America through Prosthetic Records, can now be streamed in the YouTube-video located below.
Prosthetic Records has signed the UK's Dragged Into Sunlight to a worldwide recording contract. This marks the first signing of a UK act for the label, which will re-release the UK-based band's album, Hatred For Mankind, in April, 2010. The album, recorded by Tom Dring and Billy Anderson (Eyehategod, Neurosis, Weedeater), was originally released in 2009 by Mordgrimm Records (Anaal Nathrakh, Covenant). The mysterious band, whose sound can be described as a mixture of black, death and doom metal, has shared the stage with acts such as Vader, Grief, Trap Them, Gama Bomb and Lazarus Blackstar.
The band, who appear masked in photos, play in near total darkness and smoke and do not publicize their individual names, commented about today's heavy music scene: "A few blastbeats, a scrawled logo and people accept it, regardless of the reality. Dragged Into Sunlight is a concept, we've taken the time to come up with our own understanding and presentation of what we want to see associated with extreme metal in 2009 and beyond."
