Norwegian power metallers Gaia Epicus have posted the following message on their MySpace:

"We are sorry to say that the planned UK Tour to support Killing Machine is canceled/postponed. Killing Machine had to cancel the upcoming UK tour because of their bass player leaving the band. Gaia Epicus was really looking forward to go back to the UK and play. We are now working hard on either getting new dates for the tour with Killing Machine or putting up a new tour of our own. We hope to have new dates for you very soon."

For the ones interested, Killing Machine's new bassist is called Jochen Mayer (ex-Domain, Casanova). His first live debut took place last weekend at Wacken Open Air. All info on this US Heavy metal band on MySpace.

"Today (April 2nd) we bring you two new names on guest musicians playing on the new album. Michael Troy will be playing some keyboards on 3 songs. Michael just finished a successful tour of South and Central America with Swedish guitar legend / virtuoso, Yngwie Malmsteen in December, and has been officially named as the touring keyboardist for Yngwie's greatly anticipated upcoming release. Then we have the great Swedish guitar wizard called Jonas Hörnqvist from the band Treasure Land, and he will be playing a few guitar solos."

Gaia Epicus are ready to Rock the world! but there is one or should we say two problems with it. Number one: our guitar wizard Jokke doesn't feel like going all the way and cannot give 100% into the band. That's why we have decided to look for
a skilled guitarist who can act as a Live Stand-In player, and with time maybe become the next solo guitarist of Gaia Epicus. This is not something we want to happen but it seems to be the best for the band. Jokke is still a member of the band
until we find a better solution.
Problem number two: is that we are still seeking a new bass player, and have decided to use a Live Stand-in player also on the bass.

"After having reviewed 6 offers for a new record deal there was only 2 that could have been interesting to proceed, but we didn't go with any of these offers. For some time Thomas have been thinking about the idea to start his own label, and now was the right time to try and do just that. So the new album will be released on his new label which is called Epicus Records.
